I had a Roku 2, which was fine in its time, but some streaming services were dragging and VERY slow to respond to commands. I was not sure what the cause was, but decided to upgrade. The new Roku made everything move quickly and reliably. And of course, some new features such as speaking the name of a show that I want into the remote to go directly there, are helpful.

Awesome streaming device. Great quality and extremely easy to use. Only reason it's 4 stars is because I could get a 4k Firestick for $50-$60 less and it has the same features and more on it, like the Twitch app.

Best working device I have used of all the other I have tried. I have tried the sticks, the Roku premier, the Amazon cube and some of the Android tv boxes. They all had issues with streaming breaking up for reloading or data issues. I have 1000mbs fiber service and a $300. Router so the network was certainly fast enough. This device is smooth working device with a great remote and works solid with no issues. Don’t waste your time and $$. Get the best and enjoy tv like it should be.

Great upgrade from older Roku for my new LG 4K Dolby Atmos/Vision tv! I had to purchase an 8K cable in order for Dolby Vision/Atmos to work. Once you have the correct cable, change the settings on both the TV for the HDMI port and in Roku for 4K Dolby Vision/Atmos. I was surprised to the see number of Dolby Vision & Atmos content available via streaming content providers. This paired perfectly with my new LG 4K Dolby Vision/Atmos tv.

The Roku Ultra Streaming device is pretty good. I am using it as my alternate stream device over the TiVo, since I had issue with my TiVo with my cable service. The ability to also watch Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Paramount+ and Crunchyroll in comparison blows away trying to see only some of them on the smart TV or TiVo. The interface is fairly easy to use and I would recommend it to people who only use streaming. I also like the fact that you don't have to have a subscription with Roku just to use your streaming services. While yes, you are paying for the streaming services, using them with roku doesn't cost extra.

I just love it. I was never familiar with Roku before. I am very elderly and not tech savvy at all however it doesn’t take very long to be able to operate these little things. As far as I’m concerned they’re a godsend thank you so much Best Buy. I love you guys… I just wish you didn’t have quite so many wonderful things to buy lol.

Bought a 4K tv a few months ago, realized the Roku was 5+ and 1080p. Felt I was cheating myself on quality and I was. The remote uses batt power kind of fast even not using voice control

The Roku does what it's supposed to. It brings great streaming to the TV. It was easy to set up and easier still to use.

Got this for the speed and advanced controls on the remote. It works great, happy with my purchase.

The picture and sound quality are far superior to not only roku I've used but also beyond my firestick 4k. I've had roku 2, 3 and 4 and this was way beyond those. But still has the wonderful layout that we are all familiar with from Roku. Built in remote finder is a dream come true. Especially when you have children who can easily misplace it. However not everythings perfect here. Randomly when switching to or from dolby vision the screen gets a pink coloring across it. I've tested this on two tv's and different hdmi cables and ports. Soon as you reset it or sometimes if it switch dolby vision again it fixes it. But you never know when it will happen.

I was using a firestick, but that kept giving me problems. Got this instead and haven't had a problem since.

Works as intended. Best 4K streamer besides Apple TV. This is just a lot better value, and can still output Dolby Atmos

Fast response, much less buffering, excellent picture quality. Headphones are a nice extra feature for Late night watching

I purchased the 2020 version to get Dolby Vision. The pic quality is substantially better than the previous 2018 version.

Great picture quality and very easy to use. I have it connected to an OLED to download more apps.
