I bought the roku so I could lose the $9 / mo cable box fee. Set up was easy. Overall it's pretty fast. Still has the typical roku pause when using a favorites guide.

I LOVE these, so much I purchased another one for another room. Not only can I stream channels that are not normally available via a smart TV, I can connect to my work outs on Peloton. This is perfect for when I am working out OFF the bike and want stretching and strength training. Roku allows the interface, so the workouts can be done with my big screen TV, leaving the 2nd one for watching movies and shows in the bedroom

Best Buy delivered the product very quickly and the product was as advertised. Once set up and activated the Roku works very well. The instructions for set up and activation were not as clear as they should have been. Took some effort to figure out how to activate the device on my system, which includes Marantz Receiver through which all content inputs are sent to the TV. Had to connect the Roku directly to TV to accomplish activation.

Has a great feature set. The remote works well and the interface is snappy.

Awesome. Great streaming ability. Wifi capability is excellent. Picture is like it's hard wired.

easy to use. trustworthy. no critical concerns concerning use. Will note that the remote while the remote is compact friendly, the controls, (in - out of apps, etc) take some time to get used to and not be confused by which button to use. The volume controls are 'nicely' placed on the side, BUT also are accidently pressed because that is where the the fingers lay when holding device in hand.(did not reduce my overall rating due to this).

Great little gizmo for streaming. I had zero experience streaming and did not realize my beautiful Sony Bravia did not have the app my apartment manager told me to use. The Best Buy salesman gave me a lesson in streaming, recommending this device. It’s super easy to set up and the picture/streaming speed are great!

I buy the newest Roku Ultra every year. This is an upgrade worthy of the money this year for the proper Dolby Atmos output. The only disappointment is how the YouTube and Plex apps still don't seem to output it properly. Netflix and Disney+ both look and sound perfect with Dolby Vision and Atmos to my LG CX and Sony receiver. App launch speed is fast but about the same as last year's model. I use Ethernet so I can't attest to wifi performance.

Roku streaming media players are very easy to set up and use. The Roku Ultra allows you to turn most smart TVs into a powerful hub providing you with access to most of the streaming services available today. If you have an older smart TV with limited access to streaming services, the Roku is an affordable alternative to purchasing a new TV. Roku also provides access to its own free content through the player.

Ease of setup is fantastic. The picture quality is fantastic and the remote is easy to setup.

Roku has been my favorite streaming platform for many years now and this Ultra model really shines. Unit has fast response times and the Dolby Vision and HDR look great on my OLED TV. Set up was easy and there are plenty of apps on the Roku store to install and enjoy. I don't use the voice feature on the remote very often but when I do it responds well. If you like to stream 4K content, this Roku is for you.

Works like all other Rokus but the headphone option is nice. Good sound quality

Now that Roku has Dolby Vision support there is no reason not to invest in one. Now I am able to view all my Vudu videos that have Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos in one place. Thank you. (It would be better if you made your display for HDR adaptive to what ever you are streaming so you do not have to keep manually changing the TV display from 4k to 4k HDR and back. Some non HDR videos do not play well when Dolby Vision or HDR10 is turned on.

Second unit purchased for 'cutting the cord'. This unit has the rechargeable remote which is good but does not let you know it needs recharge until it dies.

Works great! It was very easy to set up. The headphone jack and headphones is a nice added feature.

We use stand alone Roku's (not built into TV) exclusively in our house and seldom (pretty much never) have any issues. This year we upgraded every room in the house with this years models (some rooms with the stream bar) replacing various Roku's 2 and Roku's 3 to be on the same generation in every room. Also helped to buy on/ around black Friday when each one was $20 off regular price (which counted toward my value rating).

Bought my second Roku Ultra to have the ability of Dolby Vison HDR for my next main tv, a 4K model. I hooked it up to a 2012 2K tv and it does everything it's supposed to except turn the set on. Nice to have volume controls, mute, voice commands, personal listening earbuds, and the ability to turn everything off with the remote. I use the first one at a vacation home with a slow internet connection. Both Rokus work well.
