Great video stick. Has all of the atmos and 4k capability and very easy to set up.

I never saw a need for buying the more expensive Roku ultra but after using one I highly recommend trying this advanced device for streaming! I love the earphones that you plug into the remote to watch TV as loud as you need. The added features include some voice control and allows you to save two frequently used voice commands. The volume on the side of the Roku remote is very handy.

We have 5 ROKUs in our house and they all always perform as indicated. Recommend.

I did a LOT of research on which media streaming device I should buy and landed on the Roku. I haven't had one in nearly 7 years so I was skeptical based on my experiences with them a LONG time ago, but they knocked it outta the park with this device. The streaming quality is amazing. The remote is so user-friendly and their user interface is SO welcoming. Loved it.

I really enjoy the Roku streaming. It gives me access to lots of different channels, it's easy to navigate and I also really like the Roku channel a lot. They have a ton of good movies and tv shows that are not easy to find and they shake it up every month so, the variety is good. I have two Rokus now and I highly recommend it.

I love these Roku things and the Ultra is the best yet. I primarily use it for watching TV through the Xfinity app (which saves renting a cable box) viewing videos and photos stored on my NAS, listening to IHeart radio, and watching Amazon videos. The remote is simple to use without having to look before pushing the buttons. I bought two on sale and retired a couple of my older models.

Much faster loading than my Samsung smart TV for all the streaming channels. Also, the remote, which is very simple and is voice capable is far better than any Logitech universal remote that I've ever had. Keep in mind that the remote will only control the Roku and the TV and sound bar. I don't have a DVD and if you do, the remote won't be able to control that, as far as I can see.

Yay, a roku remote that turns your TV on and off and volume up and down. Almost as good as a roku tv. Most 4K tvs already have an app store built in. If it's not Roku though, this is a good option. Google TV on chromecast or certain TV makes has YouTube Music and casting abilities, but as far as app options, Roku has the most. I use both on all tvs. Don't bother with Amazon firesticks

I purchased the Roku as an alternative to purchasing a second Apple TV. I could not be happier with the ease of operation! Connection and setup were straight forward. However, the creation of a Roku account was unexpected and was required before the device would operate. I do not care to divulge my credit card information when I have no plans to purchase anything from Roku but as I said, it was required. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

Decent upgrade to the previous Ultra with the addition of bluetooth and somewhat stronger wifi connectivity. There is no slot for micro sd card. But this unit seems to hold all the channels I can put on it. Have not tried gaming with angry birds or any other game available, but this unit does seem to be pretty smooth when swapping through channels or menus. Seems to have a more powerful cpu and memory than previous unit. One thing I might add for those using an HDR TV and an AVR(Audio Video Return Channel) Receiver. Go to Settings, System, Advanced System Settings, Advanced Display Settings, HDR Subsampling, and check 4:2:0. Do not check 4:2:2 or you will have all sorts of problems with HDCP 2.1 errors. Not sure why. Just a precaution. I also did a recent system update and the update did all sorts of scrambling with stuff with the sound, with the network connections (repeated restarts to get the network to stabilize, kept disabling my network). For instance on Amazon Prime certain programs that are basically broadcast in Dolby 2.0 would play the progams in Front surround through left and right speakers instead of through the center channel speaker. To fix this I had to go into settings, audio, HDMI and check Audio Passthrough, so programs would play in proper Dolby 2.0 (Dialogue through Center Channel Speaker). Certain programs would also play the Audio Description narration (on Disney+) without pressing the * button 4 times. (After several restarts (5) narration finally went away.) Anyhow if your unit does not auto update to the latest upgrade or firmware, leave it alone. Let it auto update. Roku should address and fix these problems with future updates. Overall this is a good unit, especially with future improvements and fixes to the firmware.

Its the best! Perfect device to manage all your apps. Its fast and the remote is so easy to use. The private listening feature is just fantastic via the included headphones or using the bluetooth option thru the free Roku phone app and paired wireless EarPods

The best streaming box on the market. I LOVE the headphone jack. Prefect for the bedroom or if you are hard of hearing. Amazing amount of available channels besides all the big names. Even does Apple TV+. Bought for a friend as they were using the slow stuttering apps built into their $1500 TV. Don't use your TV for that! Roku does it the best!

I connected this Roku Ultra to a no-longer-in-use 15 year old HD plasma TV and it brought the TV back to life. This is the only device connected to the TV but is all I need for streaming TV, movies and music. Wi-Fi connection has been rock solid. The remote is simple, easy to use and controls TV power and sound. I haven't picked up the TV remote since connecting the Roku.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Easy to figure out. LOTS of apps to add and LOTS of free stuff to watch that is actually worth watching. Unlike a competitor, they have plenty to choose from that is NOT for mature audiences only. I have no idea what children- appropriate stuff they have. I’m just talking about adult stuff that’s not full of inappropriate scenes.
