Bought this to replace our dying FireTV stick, and to have a means to watch videos off a USB drive. This was on sale so I gave it a shot, and I was happy I did. I thought the earphone thing with the remote was neat, so I can watch without using my soundbar nor receiver.

This is really a flawless product. Getting it started is as easy as plugging in a couple of cables. All the start-up procedures are quick and simple. The functionality is so seamless and extremely user-friendly. Roku does EXACTLY what I wanted. Connects me to the streaming universe where my smart tv fell short.

Easy setup, provides streaming and air connectivity to your TV. Nice remote, able to connect with sound at to have single control when using the Roku. Also easy to use includes voice control. Great Black Friday pricing was an added plus.

Purchased for my elderly mother. She's not a dinosaur, but definitely not a technology person. She's able to use the Roku without any problems, and it has actually simplified her access to her TV and her streaming services. If I watched TV, I'd get one for myself.

Ditched cable, needed some streaming devices for our dumb old tv's. Since we have our house set up for wired, went with this option. Seems a little faster than the prior model, otherwise, same as the previous generation, other than it has Dolby Vision, which the dumb old tv can't do anyway, so who cares.

I like being able to plug into the remote to listen to shows, and the set top box doesn't seem to have the problems that Roku sticks have when they go into sleep mode. We also really like the screen saver fish tank. This is our 3rd Roku-Ultra, plus we have 3 other Roku devices hooked up to our tvs.

The price was great, the new Dolby Vision works great with my A8H Sony OLED TV. I used to switch from the Roku device to stream on my Sony to watch movies that I knew were in Dolby, but now that the new version of the Ruku Ultra has Dolby Vision, I don't have to.

I've had a Roku 3 ever since it came out & absolutely love it. We keep it in the bedroom for the TV in there. We'll, I needed a new one for our 4K setup in our living room so I decided to pick up the Roku Ultra 4K unit. I'm more than happy with it. Same great Roku that I love with some added features.

Great Picture. Great Sound. Had a little trouble at first. Picture would go black, closed captioning appeared. But no picture. Disconnected power and eithernet. Picture came back. Had to repeat this procedure 5 or 6 times the first couple days. Now it appears to be working somewhat consistently.

We love our Roku! We have 3 of them in different rooms. The Ultra is by far the best one. The new Apple mirror option is great as we can stream our WNBA games from the phone to our TV. I think Roku could improve the connection a little as sometimes it takes a few times to connect.

Very nice and easy to use. Was very fast in the beginning (first couple of month) then started acting up. Internet was going of and on often due to the device functioning improperly. I called my internet provider multiple times to service my line then change my router but it is still not working properly. At times it works perfect but when it starts acting up, I will just call the day off on watching tv and do something else instead.

I like the overall simpicity of the device. I also like the way the menu is setup for ease of use. I would recommend this for people who are looking to save from the big cable providers. You get a ton of options of different channels to watch. Definitely recommend this device!!!

The device was much easier to setup than expected. Remote not only controls the Roku, but works with the television as well, which was great for us as we had lost the remote for our television and was using one from another tv of the same brand.

Got this to cut the cord on my satellite and now im wondering what took me so long! I still get all my shows with a quarter of the price. Picture and sound quality is amazing and sounds great in my surround sound system. Internet connection never skipped a beat. Would buy again

This Roku Ultra is an excellent upgrade from the Roku 3. The picture quality is much better, and I like the shortcut buttons, and also the voice commands feature. The earphones that came with it is bad quality. Best to use your own. And the streaming speed is not faster at all from my older Roku 3. But with all the features included, it is worth the price paid for.

Lot of free channels, but also the option to stream all channels requiring payments, which can be done on screen. Some channels do require cable access but these are few and you have a lot of free movies to watch... did I mention free! So there is always something to watch. excellent, work great!

Works great with my new Samsung Q90 tv. It is super quick and easyvto add programming. Picture is superb and sound is terrific. It programmed to work with my tv remote. I love the option of using the included wired ear buds. I would buy this again.

I've been loyal to Rokus for a long time. They stay compatible and working though the old ones are sluggish. This one works really nicely. I also like the ability to function on hotel captive portal wifis with the help of your phone to log in the wifi.

I mainly bought the Roku Ultra for one specific feature, an ethernet port. Otherwise, I probably just would have purchased the Streaming Stick Plus as I think that The Ultra at its usual price of $100 is too high. The remote is nice, feels very solid in your hand. One nice feature is the two programmable buttons. As for the voice remote capabilities, I rarely if ever use them as voice command functionality is quite limited.

I LOVE the Roku-Ultra. I previously had the Roku 3, and decided to upgrade to the Ultra. The speed is superb, and I like the accuracy of the voice commands. My only disappointment is that maybe I should have waited because it was $30 cheaper three weeks after I purchased it at the original price.
