We have 5 Roku Ultra Streaming devices. It eliminates the need for our TV remotes and provides excellent streaming throughput. Well worth the extra cost to eliminate the hassle of having to use 2 remotes.

This was the solution to my problem. The remote quit to my Fire Tv and none of the replacements I bought worked. The Roku not only works to control the TV but is the best streaming device I've ever had.

As with most Roku products it was easy to install and get up and running. I was able to easily transfer data from my previous Roku. The remote is really good and now is the one remote i use for Roku.

The Roku Ultra is everything that on-line reviewers say it is. Super easy to set up; interface is intuitive and response time is quick - much faster than the built-in smart interface on my older smart TV. Great value at $69.

I love this Roku, I upgraded to this one after using my old one for almost 5 years straight and this was an much needed upgrade and I love it! I love the voice control, volume buttons and headphone jack built in the remote!

Purchased the Roku-Ultra for the new features and to download the xfinity app to turn in the comcast box. Was very easy to set up it did take awhile for Roku to send the email to continue.

I got this roku ultra because it supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. I haven’t tested it with Dolby Vision but I bought a pair of atmos speakers, added some surrounds and I can’t stop listening to it!

The Ultra works as described, easy set up. The free channel selection is limited and the cost for optional channels varies from several dollars per month to 8 - 10 dollars per month. I don't known how much the "premium" channels cost, never looked into them but then I also never found anything to watch on them when they offered for free on the cable network.

I prefer the Roku remote over the Firestick remote. But I returned this Roku because it took much longer to load picture than my Firestick. Don’t know if one uses 5G and the other uses 2G when I set it up. I didn’t hardwire an Ethernet cable to it which would likely be faster due to distance and different rooms.

Excellent value for streaming. Ethernet is a big help with streaming consistency. Well specced and had only a few minor issues that were all fixed with a restart.

The price seemed reasonable and I liked how easy it was to install! I like the remote as it is not loaded with many buttons. Would like to know if I can use just the remote and my receiver remote. Right now, I also use my TV remote.

Roku was the first one with the streaming platform. There are a lot of apps that are only available for Roku. The headphone jack is nice to have if you want to watch tv and don’t want to disturb anyone. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a fantastic streaming box. It performs quickly and I really appreciate being able to watch movies off a hard drive or usb stick. It is a nice upgrade from my old Roku stick that had started to slow down.

I love that this passes through Dolby Vision to the Tv and Dolby Atmos to the sound receiver. Everything is handled the ARC. Interface is clean and easy to use. The biggest plus is the USB port for your own media.

it works great. So far so good. Very clear excellent picture and sound. Streaming in my case is with ethernet cable. I like the Roku Ultra 2220 4k dolby vision Streaming Media. I use it a lot viewing movies and PBS programing.

Love this Roku. I bought the original Roku years ago and this works so much better. Very smooth user interface, and it operates fast. I like the selection of apps available on Roku compared to other streaming media devices.

Took a nearby lightning strike that fried my previous Roku Ultra. We have a few other streaming devices and I certainly prefer this interface. Bought geek squad protection this time which does cover lightning strikes

Was getting more and more discouraged using the new Chromecast 4K device for a variety reasons, mostly related to lack of surround sound audio support on different apps. When switched back to my Roku 4K streaming stick, it started to report overheating with 4K HDR streams now that the weather was warming up (but not that warm, and the device was almost always searing hot anyway). I ordered the extension dongle, but before it came it didn't seem like it would help because it was connected to my AVR with plenty of open air. With all that, I opted to try the latest Roku Ultra (I had an older version on my other TV and has been flawless). This newer version works beautifully with no overheating and only warm to the touch at worst case watching hours of 4K HDR streams at 60Hz.
