love ease of use also now I can lower my cable bill

Roku blows Apple TV out of the water hands down. Access to Amazon Prime alone is worth buying a Roku over the Apple TV. I also had the ability to put the Xfinity Streaming TV app on it allowing me to bypass having to rent another cable box. Roku pays for itself in a years time.

We tried a few other brands streaming devices and our Roku Ultra is by and far the best most consistent reliable device we've used. We cancelled cable and exclusively watch our steaming and Live TV on the Roku Now. It's a solid device that's well worth the investment.

I could see clear and bright pictures in my 4K tv.

My ROKU is very enjoyable I would recommend it to all my family. I really like ROKUs customer service they are very helpful, with such questions as how do you make the remote receive a voice command. It is actually quite easy. But could not locate an explanation on the booklet ( you press the search button )

My first one with a coded 201610 on the bar code, worked good for 2 days. Then it was constant hdcp error's. Returned it and got one with a 201703 code and much better. Only happened a couple times. I use it mostly for directv now. Once directv gets that out of beta it will be an awesome streaming device.

Best HDR streaming there is bar none! I have many including Amazon 4K HDR, Sony 75" HDR TV, and a Samsung 4K. Even streams down Atmos Digital sound too! This does everything I want accept ITunes and 3D. Other than that it absolutely by far the best I have tried to date!

I love this roku! 4k and HDR streaming is awesome. My only complaint is that it constantly shows an HDCP 2.2 error on the screen which is easily fixed by unplugging and plugging the power chord for a reset.

In my opinion, the Roku Ultra is the only way to go. Not only does it provide an ease of operation, but also has 4K capabilities and not to mention the USB drive. Anyone who is a movie junkie will love the USB drive - just to mention the Apple TV doesn't have it.

Upgraded my original Roku to a Roku Ultra. I've only had the box for a few weeks and have already had to use the lost remote finder (I have 4 kids), now I wish my TV remote had this feature. UI is very fast compared to the built in apps in my TV and Blu-Ray player.

Roku seems to have a mind of its own. Couldn't access youtube one afternoon; later in the evening it was available. As we watch Jimmy Fallon the picture enlarged on its own, we were looking at the space next to Jimmy. I, to try anything to fix it, pushed the reload button and the picture returned to normal.

i was using my Blueray for streaming. It was getting SLOW. I bought a Roku. What a difference! Love it. Wish the remote was backlit. I'd pay a little more for the product to get that. Otherwise, superb. Better than an Apple TV that I have because it gets Amazon.

Have had various Roku device throughout the years and this is the best one yet. Love the HDR and especially the USB port. The app on the Roku home page makes it extremely easy to view content from a flash drive. Movies, videos, pictures and music. Great device!!

Love my Roku players, they have all worked great, except this ultra. Not sure what the issue is with this Roku issue, because I get HDCP issues, and the device locks up when on 4K. Out of 5 players, this is the first one i've had issues with. Still love em though!

I was under the impression there was a lot of content included with the Roku Ultra, but I could not locate any new content??? Just old episodes! There should be more FREE channels!! Once I dropped my cable due to overpricing by Comcast that costs $211 per month. I still have to pay Comcast $139 per month for one more year because they gave me an equipment upgrade and stated I agreed to contract over the phone- false!! More gimmicks! Roku ultra should have a turn off Roku feature, but it does not! You must go to home button and wait about 30 minutes for Roku to go to standby or off mode. I don't like that you can add channels, but MOST channels are not available without Comcast , verizon , dish network, so I had to buy sling tv for $30 month extra to access channel 10 news. Miss my weather channel 61!!!

Have let the sat. company go. Get most of the programs I watch over the internet now at 1/4 of the cost. Must have wireless A/C to make work properly with high speed internet. Plug it in, connect to TV, set up account and off you go. SIMPLE!

The Roku Ultra flickers and causes the picture to go out and has trouble with the HPCP 2.2 protocols on 4K settings. All HDMI cables are 4K and HDCP 2.2 compliant, I can get it to work by recycling the power a few times to the Ultra. Works ok if set to 1080, No help from Roku on this...
