I was looking for my first streaming system because I decided that I wanted to cut the chord with Optimum. I purchased the Roku Ultra and It works as described with no lag. Very happy with this purchase.

I switched from roku 2.so far been a great experience, sometime it hangs and reboots itself or you may need to restart it manually (same as roku2). Other than that much faster and better quality as it uses n/w cable instead of wifi.

I love my Roku Ultra! I only it for 1080p for now, however as soon a I find the right Ultra HD TV, I will be ready. You can add more apps. My previous Blue Ray play I could not add additional apps.

I purchased this so that I would not have to rent a cable box for my TV in my bedroom. I am able to get channels through Spectrum not to mention Netflex and all the others. Worth every penny!

The Roku Ultra is by far the best streaming media player - worth the money if you are really into television shows. This model has an ethernet port which is really nice to have. Great Roku experience.

I currently own the first generation a Roku streaming system (Roku 2); I thought that updating my Roku 2 to the Romo Ultra would correct some Wifi connectivity, but the newer systems had an annoying issue: in that my TV would frequently have to detect the HDMI signal from the Roku Ultra. After getting snubbed by Roku support, I ended up returning the Roku Ultra. If you consider this streaming option, I would suggest that you have a newer TV (one that can handle 4K). Maybe (and I mean maybe) you'll have better success than I had.

Minimal setup effort required. It starts and changes channels quickly. I bought this model to get the Dolby 5.1 pass through to my home theater audio when streaming Google Play movies; works great.

After much deliberation,watched many YouTube reviews I decided that Roku was the way to go and have not been disappointed it's easy to use and has a great picture and sound, well worth the money!

Very easy to use and set up. Very user friendly environment. The remote is a nice bonus, versus having to use your phone as a remote. Highly recommend! Bought in store, very good customer service.

The Roku Ultra is fantastic. I love the huge selection of channels and free content (free = commercials). The only feature missing is an off button. Runs flawlessly and no problems with overheating.

I really like the Roku experience, my Roku 3 was amazing, and I still use it on my bedroom TV. However, the Roku Ultra that I got to work with my new UHD 4K TV (Samsung 65") seems to have nothing but issues. It is glitchy, sometimes giving my the purple screen claiming that HDCP has stopped working, and sometimes the screen flashes and goes scratchy. I've tried connecting it to different HDMI ports for the TV and I even tried connecting it through my A/V receiver (Marantz). I've now switched to just using the Smart TV options since I know those won't glitch on me. C'mon Roku, get that HDCP handshake worked out with Samsung!

This unit does not overheat and lockup like my Roku 4 did. Very pleased with that. Integrates with Control4 brilliantly. An Absolute must for someone with a Large 4K display and Sound system

I've saved $80 on cable fees by installing Roku and disabling cable movie channels. I've taken my device on trips; so long as you have WIFI, you can watch channels anywhere. Highly recommend!

Please do your self a favor and buy the ultra model. Just because there are some that that for some reason you can download on ultra model. I have 3 in my house

Roku is eat to use and this one is voice control. Turns any tv into smart TV no super smart TV. I now bought TV's with this build in too. Great device. RF not IR so no pointing at the.

Purchased this to swap out the Cisco Digital Adapter, which will save us money in the long run. I'm so glad I can get a guide now and it appears it makes the TV picture more crisp.

Went from an older model Roku 3 to this and the difference was amazing and the 4k quality supported was what I was looking for with my new 4k TV. Love the product and you will too.

FAMILY TOLD ME TO CHECK OUT ROKU SINCE IT WAS SUPPOSSED TO BE CHEAPER THAN CABLE. IT IS. IT DOES TAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS, BUT IN THE LONG RUN, IT IS SO EASIER TO DEAL WITH. LOVE IT.

Does exactly what I bought it for. I use it for Sling and an emby server, wired of course. My only complaint is the delay after leaving and app and going back to the home screen. Should have a shorter delay.

Use a basic Roku on my 35" Dynex TV and love it. Use the new Roku Ultra with my new 65" Sony Android TV. Roku offers many more apps and is much more convenient for me to use. Love Roku.
