We put our Rowenta irons through their paces at my house, we have gone through a few, and are always pleased how long and how effectively they work. We been loyal Rowenta users for a good 15+ years.

Good performance, strong steam, very lightweight, quality as expected from this brand, Rowenta. I would recommend it, and really like the fact that it works so well, but is dramatically lighter than my last Rowenta. Also does vertical steam, so can steam out curtains or hanging clothes easily.

Well worth the dollars. Heats up quickly and does a great job of steaming things flat. Easy to negotiate around buttons with the indentations on the nose of this iron.

Ironing has always been a chore and something I dreaded and would put it off until it became necessary.....now I look forward to this task as the iron moves over all fabrics with such ease and I'm finished in no time. The different steam choices are easy to use too. Would make a wonderful shower gift.....or for that matter, any other occasion.

Very nice iron, I like the weight. Heavy enough to press things nicely without weighing a ton. Stainless steel plate stays scratch free and clean. It was recommended to me by several friends, happy with the purchase.

Had a Shark iron before this one that worked really well just really inconsistent with the steam function. The Rowenta doesn't have as much steam as the Shark but much more consistent while ironing.

Our Rowenta Iron heats up quickly, has a powerful steam button and fit the family budget. The Rowenta - Model: DW 1050 - Effective Iron - White w/Teal that we bought does everything we need in an Iron. Yes, we would recommend this Rowenta Iron to anyone! Being a Reward Zone member didn't hurt either, ( additional savings, Yea )!

Rowenta irons are the best by far. I've had several now... I bought this one for my sister who had loaned hers out. She's thrilled with it! Great iron.

It's ok for an iron, I wished the cord was retractable and the water funnel had a cover. Does the job.

This is our second purchase of this model of Rowenta, from Germany. Our mistake with the first is that we did not use distilled water and the steam part finally gave out (after 5 years of daily use). This time around we are using Distilled water. The unit heats up fast and is an excellent steam iron. It does a great job on white shirts and uniforms.

What can I say? It's a clothes iron and it irons clothes. It cost much more than I expected to pay but I bought it on the advice of the salesman. As a fellow veteran, he said he bought one and used it his entire military career. It heats fast and does what it should. My biggest complaint is every time I pick it up my hand bumps the temperature dial and moves it several notches. Wish it wasn't so easy to turn. The care instuctions for cooling, cleaning, etc seems a little excessive for for the amount of maintenance I want to put into an iron so it most likely will not be followed. My last iron, much cheaper, lasted 10 years with me doing nothing to maintain it.

Have not had it long enough to say that it is worth the price as it is fairly expensive iron. It has good features and works very well. Would not want to knock it off the ironing board which is something that I seem to like to do. Looks like it would break on impact. But, it is nice weight and nice balance. Has good features and the temperature setting seem to be good for the materials suggested.

Having never owned a steam iron before, I read the owners manual several times trying to find out how to turn the iron on or off - you don't, you plug iit in, or unplug it. Also, how to get the steam working. There was no explanation on how much water to put in or how long to wait for it to build up steam. Trial and error prevailed.
