This was given to me for Christmas as a gift and I have used it several times and everyone I speak to on the telephone complains about they hear everyone and not the actual person on the phone.

They were ok for the money, they did not work as good as I would have like for working in the yard. I went back Peter and bought Sony.

The full kit is a nice deal

Let’s start by saying that this is a full kit that each item by itself require a comment and in my opinion the full kit together is impressive.
Starting by the most important, the headphones. They deliver one of the most crystal-clear sounds among all the wireless headphones that I own. It’s also relevant, that if you are a sound geek (kind of like me) I recommend downloading the app that will allow you to play with the settings and adapting the outcome to your preferences. Important aspects to consider, the connection Bluetooth with the phone is quite intuitive (both iphone and android), I see however a small variance between my experience and the instructions book: I have been not able to connect the two earplugs together as an unity but each of the separately (also an option in the instructions). Also, to mention that while the earplugs fit perfectly in my ears, they are not ok for sports (sweat and movement and they drop). Finally, those are not noise cancelling.
Them you have the charging case, that (as others) they serve to protect and recharge your headphones. What is really brilliant, is the huge extra power inside the case: you can use your headphones for more than a day of full use and in addition serves as a power bank to other devices as your phone. Never see this before and it’s cool to reduce the number of devices in my backpack.
Finally and thanks to the fact that the case recharges with the standard Qi wireless technology, I’ve been able to eliminate plenty of wires from my walls with a charger that serves also for my iphone.
3 for one and all works very nicely. A deal!

Great product for a particular customer segment...

Rowkin offers some of the best engineered products in the segment. I personally find that the Surge Charge are my favorite due to their extended battery life, comfort, phenomenal sound fidelity and their ability to 'stay put' when physically active. With that said, the Ascent Charge+ in ear wireless buds are a great, highly engineered product for those wanting the smallest possible design and the conveniences of a charging station/storage container along with hassle-free usability.
The modules charge fast which is important as the battery life is much shorter than their larger siblings. Bluetooth connectivity was quick and precise with the Rowkin mobile app.
Sound quality - as to be expected - is a bitter thinner, brighter and lacking full bass response - along with somewhat limited top-end volume gain. But again, most customers looking for the most compact solution should be OK with these limitations. A comfortable fit should be attainable by most with the assortment of sleeves/tips provided and the capacitive touch functionality is amazing.
I still prefer the Surge platform over these but can still wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a compact design that exudes trouble-free performance.

Headphones with no strings attached!

From packaging to extended use, these headphones do not disappoint. Which is fantastic. I have wired over-the-ear headphones, wireless over-the-ear headphones, wired in-ear headphones, and wireless-but-corded in-ear headphones. And now with these ROWKIN's I have Wireless Cordless Everything-less in-ear headphones and I will never go back. It figures that as soon as I get headphones with No Strings Attached that I fall in love.
In the package, you get the charging cable, cable adapter, L&R ear buds, closing charging dock/bank, and the wireless charging platform. All are packaged simply, easy to get to, yet secure. The first two things that I noticed were that instructions were not included and that their was no wall plug included to actually plug your charging dock into the wall. When it comes to instructions, fear not. Simply download the Rowkin App and it has everything you need and nothing you don't. Its simple, helpful, and everything that an App should be. The wall plug however is something I think should be included.
As soon as I unpacked everything, I through the headphones into their magnetic charging dock that also doubles as a battery back. This thing is nifty. Very nifty even. The magnetic pieces hold the headphones in to give you a positive attachment and you know that they are charging. As another thoughtful feature, the dock slides closed, adding another piece of security to the charging and storage of your headphones. I do not know how long it takes for them to get a full charge as I have been charging them at night and while I am at work, but during housework, yard work, or even as I write this review, they are in my ears.
I have had these headphones in on multiple occasions, and there is no fatigue to them. They fit very well. Secure, do not fall out, but at the same time they don't feel like they are an annoyance. You can barely tell that you have them in. Now they aren't noise cancelling, but with music playing, I am easily immersed in what I am listening to.
On to the most important part of a headphone review...the sound! These headphones sound amazing. These are not your "I'm going to blow my ear drums out" or "I want all the bass!" headphones. These are very sophisticated sounding headphones. The highs, lows, and mids area ll there and all sounds can be heard very clearly. I have found myself noticing instruments in songs that I didn't even know were used in that song until I used these headphones. If you like more of this, or less of that, there are several preset sound settings to chose from in the Rowkin App. I have found myself typically choosing ELECTRONIC as my sound setting. It seems the most well rounded option, as I listen to everything from classic country to EDM. And these headphones excel no matter what you are listening to.
The only downside I have been able to come up with is that battery life is average. Not great, not bad. But with the size of the headphones coupled with the features that they provide, the battery life is acceptable. I am getting a few hours at a time out of them, which is probably as much as I should be wearing them at any given time, but with how enjoyable these headphones are, I have a problem taking them out.
If you are in the market for headphones, give these a good, long, hard look. I had not personally heard of Rowkin before owning these headphones, but I will definitely look at them for any of my sound needs from now on.

Great Sound, Long Lasting

The sound quality is really good compared to similar devices and the ability to change sound profiles in the app is a plus. The app works well and allows you to check battery percentage and track location.
The earbuds quickly connect to my device (tested with iPhone XR, iPad). The earbuds stay connected to each other - I’ve used other devices that had problems keeping the left and right earbuds connected, but Rowkin seems to have solved that problem.
I was able to get 3.5-4 hours of battery before needing to charge with the case.
The case has a large battery capacity and the ability to use case to charge other devices is really nice.
Microphone works well for calls
Wireless charger requires very precise setting, but works well when you find the spot.
Finding the right location in the ear can be tricky. The best way I’ve found is to place them in, then twist a bit. The touch controls don’t always seem to work. For example, double tap on the right bud to pause music almost always works, but then double tapping to resume sometimes opens Siri (which should be triggered by a triple tap). Hoping the touch controls can be refined with an update (which you should be able to do with the app).
Overall, this is a solid pair of wireless earbuds that have better sound than most and longer overall battery (considering the capacity of the case).

True wireless small form earbuds + Compromise

Nicely designed earbuds that are compact and fit really well, the charging case is also done really well and Rowkin have nailed the visual on these buds. The case can also charge wireless with the included Qi charging pad, this makes charging a breeze, 10/10 for innovation. You also get 3 different sizes of tips to ensure the buds fit properly in your ear. What you get here are some well buolt compact wireless earbuds, but they come with compromise
They come with no setup instructions. You are forced to login to the Rowkin website for all information as to setup and operation. This is a major fail by Rowkin
If you are looking for answers to question not already listed on the website then you can email them... But they dont reply... So kinda pointless. This is a major fail by Rowkin
Fiddly to pair with devices, one earbud seemed to take an age to pair. They are paired out fo the box supposedly but mine were not.
Online it states it has a charge status indicator on the carrying case. And it does, but wont work unless the case is connected with the Qi charger, which must be plugged in to a power source itself, Kinda dumb really.
Sound quality is lacking. Now if you are coming in to these looking for any kind of bass then you will be sorely disappointed. The depth is almost none existent with these and i struggle to say they sound good. For the price im not impressed at all and feel these do fall short for the price you pay. Its design over function over sound

Just short of what Im looking for

First off, I really wanted to love these, the case is cool, the earbuds look great and it has Qi charging, what’s not to like?
First and foremost, earphones need to sound great, these fell short in my opinion, perhaps when compared to others in this price point they do well but I was not too thrilled with their bass performance.
They are of high-quality construction, pair easily (after having the earbuds pair with each other) and the case charges the earbuds with the included USB-C cord or placing the case on the included Qi Charge mat which is a great feature in my opinion.
I couldn’t figure out how they are supposed to best go in my ear and I couldn’t figure out how to change out the earbud tips (and I am no neophyte when it comes to earbuds etc) and there is no place online or in the manual that I could find that speaks to how to do these.
They have the latest Bluetooth 5.0 interface and the range, charging time etc are great. They are also water resistant but not water proof. I experienced just over 3 hours use on a charge so that’s as advertised.
There is a companion App you can download that shows battery life etc and it has a few preprogrammed EQ settings in it. You can choose various areas on the frequency scale, but it doesn’t look like anything is customizable, you have to stick with the preprogrammed profiles. Perhaps if they allow the EQ to be customized, Id be able to get the sound to my liking as the “Bass Booster” profile they include falls short of how I like my sound or maybe I just don’t have the earbuds in my ears properly, but I tried every which way.
These are OK, just not great.
Pros:
• Small size
• Secure fit
• High quality construction
• Cool charging case
• Included Qi Charging Mat
Cons:
• Bass lacking for my taste
• Hard to figure out how to best wear in ears and how to change the earbud tips
