Poor Design and no replacement parts

We were happy with the unit at first and used it about 1-2 times a month, but after 13 months the clear water tank cracked on the bottom and after 18 months the clear front cover (main suction) above the brushes broke off. The design and materials used are poor quality. We maintained the unit, rinsed both the clear water tank and dirty water tank after every use. What is even more upsetting, I contacted Rug Doctor Support for the replacement part I need to make the repair and based on the serial number of my unit, they informed me the part is no longer is made. The Support suggested I look for the part from private sellers that are selling parts or ask local vacuum repair shops if they had something that would fit.
