Does not work with wireless charging. Kickstand is kind of high difficult to use wot watch on normal desk. Do not buy unless you only want protect from drops and the like.

it's a good and nice looking case but not for me because i have to take the phone out if i have to use the wireless charger for it

Minor issue was that the kickstand either kept opening or falling off after months of use. I also wish that the case support portrait mode kickstand as well.

Not a bad case, would not pay fill price due to cover on the front. Had to purchase a purchase a temper glass for the front

It's a nice case and matches the color of the phone well. But I honestly will be buying something with greater device protection.

The stand opens slightly always, it doesn't happen on the black color. 1 would rate a 4 is the stand was better

Orchid Grey Note 8 here. After buying then immediately returning the Samsung Clear S-View case, then trying on an Otterbox Commuter (black) then Symmetry (clear), I ended up with this one without truly loving the case in store right away (loved the clear view case immediately and purchased.. then returned) So I was initially set on going with a clear case to show off the beauty of the phone, but for some reason, I don't know if it's the orchid grey color or the phone itself but clear cases don't look good.. kinda cheapens the look imo. I loved the look and slim feel of the Samsung Clear View case right away, but after using it for two hours, it just became cumbersome and a big hassle opening up the cover every time I wanted to use it. And you can't check notifications unless you open the cover anyway. But it's great looking. Then tried the Otterbox Commuter which is great for protection but it just made the phone feel too big. The Otterbox Symmetry Clear really has a big bumper along the perimeter of phone (thus good protection)which made it feel bulky as well, and I feel clear cases dont look good with this phone. So this Samsung Rugged Protective Case has the protectiveness (almost) of the Otterboxes but in a slimmer form factor. Very comfortable to hold. The pictures don't do it justice. I thought it was ugly when I first saw it online but when you put your phone in it you will appreciate the fit and protection. The hidden stand is truly a nice touch and I know it'll come in handy. The one reservation I had upon purchasing was reading somewhere it wasn't wireless charging friendly. But when I brought it home I plopped it on my Samsung wireless charger at home and it worked like a champ. I wanted to try the Alcantara case but Best Buy didn't have them in stock yet.. But since this one has a hidden stand I really think that is what will set it apart. Kinda wished they had an orchid grey color though but the black is very nice. Blue looks good too. Sorry for the lengthy review but I am an indecisive person looking for the perfect case and this is the best I have tried thus far. This phone btw is absolutely amazing. My Note 5 already looks outdated and this Note 8 is so fast and just awesome in every way.

Its a good case, but the kickstand doesn't lock into place and only stays open in horizontal mode.

Buying this case for my Note 8 was an impulse buy. I had a Speck case but I liked the color and kickstand on the Samsung case more. I dropped my phone a day after swapping cases and now the screen cracked.I assumed Samsung would make a good case for their own product--- but no.

Wish this protected the screen better. I like that it's a slim case.

I got this for $20 and honestly I wouldn't pay more than $15

This main problem i have is the kickstand keeps coming off

I am super impressed with this rugged case. I got the black version and it's beautiful! It's both sleek and form fitting. I don't usually like branding but the silver Samsung isn't offensive. I wanted a case with a kickstand and easy access to the s-pen. I got an Otterbox case in my Verizon bundle but it's tough to remove the pen and it has covers on the power and headphone ports which seems unnecessary given the phone is water resistant. It made plugging in a real challenge. I also love the kickstand. The Note 8 replaced my Note 5. I loved that phone but this massive update in technology and styling made my upgrade a no brainer. My only concern is if this will limit the convertible wireless fast charger. I can't see why it would given that both are made by Samsung and you'd think they'd account for that...

After only a few months the kick stand won't stay shut.

I bought this thinking Samsung would make cases to protect their devices but I feel this case was just ok. I didn't feel it would protect well enough in the even if a drop and I'm a phone dropper. I returned it and bought an Otterbox.
