This case retail over $40. I got it on sale for $10. When i dropped my phone face down, the glass shattered. The case does not have front protection like other brands.

Everything mechanical, electric, software, battery life all excellent. The "gorilla" glass is a complete and total FRAUD!! I have never had a phone with more chips, scratches and one FULL LENGTH CRACK on the display glass. One scratch I know how the rest?? Always in a good case always in the keyless pocket WORST GLASS EVER!!! Oh yes I forgot $300.00 to $400.00 to replace the glass.

Alert: Wireless charging does NOT work after all!

I wrote a review stating "Perfect case. Wireless charging does work...".. Well after two days of it working it stopped charging wirelessly all of a sudden as of this morning. It charged wirelessly overnight to 100%.. Used it this morning down to 80% then attempted to top it off wirelessly. It started charging for about 30 seconds then stopped. I don't know why this happened but it is starting to make me worry about the battery life of this phone (smaller battery than s8+). But I will likely return the case for this reason alone.. And I know the charger is not defective. I just received a Ringke Fusion case today ($3.50 on Amazon via Slickdeals a no brainer) and it is charging fine. I also said in my previous review that clear cases don't look good and I'd like to backtrack on that too somewhat.. (SORRY!) This Ringke Fusion looks nice (slim fit) BUT it is not nearly as protective or bulky as the Otterbox Symmetry Clear or the Speck Presidio Clear I tried on at Best buy. It is a very slim fit and most likely will only use it until I find a more protective case that also allows for wireless charging. So let me just say that slim clear cases look fine, but bulkier protective clear cases not so much...?? I know I'm all over the place here and I apologize if this is of no help to you. But if you don't plan to use wireless charging, this Rugged Protective Cover is highly recommended. It maintains the slim feel by putting the bulk at the bottom where the kickstand is whereas the OTterbox and other bulky cases puts the bulk at the sides and makes it feel like almost holding a Note 4. Sorry about the complete 180 regarding wireless charging and most clear cases.. my bad.. Forgot to mention, I did try on the Tech 21 clear cases and wasn't impressed with the look either. The search continues......

With the curved edges on the screen, no case is going to give you as much protection as previous cases. I traded up from my Note 5 which had a defender case on it which had raised edges all around. I dropped it numerous times with no damage. Now, even the defender cases don't offer as much protection...and this is $20 cheaper. The case looks good and I like the hidden kick stand. I would have given 5 stars, but, the case is a bit slippery and I'm worried about dropping it. Maybe once it "breaks in", it will get a bit tackier. By the way, it does have slightly raised edges on the top and bottom. So, it offers some face down protection. But, I still worry about drops, which is why I opted for the insurance on the phone. Well worth it on a $950 phone!

The case fits the phone well. I am very sure it would be protected in a drop, hasn't happen yet. The case doesn't work well with the new wireless charger. It will only work when charging in flat position. Then you have to keep moving the phone to find the "sweet spot" for it to work.

    Fail! Cracked screen

The case itself looks nice, however, it does not protect the screen. If you are worried about dropping it, this is not the case for you. I dropped my note 8 two days after purchasing it and it only fell about a foot onto the concrete. My screen shattered and it now is costing $300 for a replacement screen. So the case did absolutely no good in protecting the screen.

    Will Not Allow Wireless Charge

The salesman at the Garland, Texas store said this case would work with wireless charging, so I purchased the Samsung fast charge wireless charging pad also. It will not work. I chatted with Samsung the next day, and they said this case won't allow wireless charging. I asked what case does wireless charge. Shantan B said the following on 3Dec2017 at 21:42: "As of now, there is no such case manufactured by Samsung which allows you to charge your phone with wireless charger." So there.

Great case, fits the phone well. I can confirm that fast charges works fine with this case. The kickstand is useful, but causes the phone to stand up a little too upright for my preference. I haven't dropped the phone yet, thankfully, so can't comment on it's safety. I wish the grip was a bit better though.

    Looks Great, But Too Slippery

This is a good looking case and I really liked the hidden kickstand (though I usually buy cases with kickstands that support portrait as well as landscape). It's also very easy to get the s-pen in and out. The back of the case has a nice texture. The bad thing is that for some reason, Samsung made the actual sides of the case very smooth. I am afraid that it will slip out of my hands. Grip is important to me. Going to return this one.
