For Beginners

Here comes in the Ryze Tech. Small enough to be fun but not big enough to have to register with the FAA. Happy Flying!

Invest into DJI Drones instead!

Well designed, but WAY to LIGHT in weight, which makes for a tough flight experience and has it’s potential dangers. Also, comes with no remote, you have to use your phone.. which isn’t horrible, but for $150, it should come with a controller. I bought this drone, flew it twice, watched a video on the DJI Mini 2 and was blown away immediately. The next day, returned this drone and bought the DJI MINI 2 combo flight kit for $599. It’s expensive for some maybe, but WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

So simple to use

I live on a boat and it was so easy to use to take some aerial photos. I would recommend that anyone getting this quadcopter look into using a third-party app on your Android phone to control the drone because the default app isn't that good. I chose to use the Tello FPV app and had a much easier time working with the drone.

Make sure to get the boost combo for 2 extra batteries and charging port, more fly time, spare parts and it’s only and extra 50 bucks.

Easy to operate

Worth the money for a little fun for a couple days. Once the initial fun wore off it got kind of boring for me. Probably a good started to see if you like it enough to invest in a bigger setup.

Great Picture

Something about it not doing well on our mountain because of the updrafts. I really thought the picture was awesome on the video.
