The best deal for a fun and easy to use drone with many one-touch tricks and great video quality

I'm a newbie to camera drones. All of my practice toy drones had remotes which are the only way I feel comfortable flying because I tried one with a phone and had no luck whatever. The paragraph said there was a remote included which is why I purchased it. Value wise, without the remote, I don't know if the combo is worth it. $99 drone, 2 extra batteries and an extra set of propellers is $144 without the bundle but the bundle is $149. Having a remote was the only thing that would've made it worth it to me at that price. The charging port alone wasn't. If you're comfortable with flying with a phone, from the reviews I've seen about the drive itself, it's a great entry level drone. I'm not, so I returned it without trying it out. So my review is entirely about the value of the boost combo at that price with those accessories.

Great drone. I think it is a good entry level drone for the people interested in flying them.

I bought this as a drone to fly indoors for the winter months, while I can’t fly my big drones outdoors. I am impressed by the quality of this drone and how well it is made and the technology built into it. I did buy the optional controller to fly the drone. This made it a lot easier to fly it. I wouldn’t suggest to fly it without this controller, I found it impossible without tactile contact with something like a controller. Another thing that I ran into is that this is a indoor drone but I can’t seem to provide it enough light. I had to purchase a work light to produce enough light so the drone would fly. And even then that wasn’t enough. I have purchased other drones from other manufacturers and never run into this problem. I fly my big drones indoors and don’t run into this problem. So I have concluded this drone requires a lot of light in order to fly. This is not the EDU edition so it doesn’t have the ability to follow the mats like the ones used in schools, or programmed either. This edition is for flying only. You can fly this outside, but take note, no wind can be present, or you will be chasing your drone. I bought this drone because DJI had their hands in on this and all my other drones are DJI drones. I am highly disappointed with this drone. I found drones that are $30 that are much more fun to fly and are not picky about lighting. They don’t literally force you to buy more things to fly their drones. If I had a chance to return my drone I would. I am quite unhappy about this drone.

This drone is awesome! I’ve had other drones in that past, but none are as easy to control as this one.

flying this tello is so easy a cave man could do it. lotsa fun great starter drone for anyone. lotsa value for the money.

Great starter drone thats not considered a toy. Easy to learn to use

It’s not earth shattering but u get what you pay for. It handles well and takes crashes like a champ minus a few blades here and there. It’s camera is ok and if it had sensors to actively avoid objects or follow u it would be 5 star. Nice for a first time drone

Great entry level drone. Very easy to use and ease in to the drone world.

Smartphone controls work well, even for little kids. Still need to figure out how to transfer video from the drone to ... whatever. Extra batteries are a must, Flight time is maybe ten minutes, this kit comes with a nice charger that houses 3 batteries at a time.

Nice wish it can with a controller but still a good starter drone.

The tello drone is a great way to learn to fly as a beginner or an experienced pilot. Fun to fly inside and outside.

Great little drone that has live video and the build quality is very good.

My grandson loves this. The camera is so clear. Blades do break easily so get extra.

Easy to fly. Great for beginners. Batteries do run out fast. But it comes with extra batteries.
