My son received one of these for the holidays. He's a a teen, at the age when asking what he wants responds with "I dunno" or "whatever." Since I've known him since he was very young, I suggested to a family member a drone would be a good bet. They bought this one based on price and a recommendation from a BB employee, expecting it to be a fun toy. It was much more - this was absolutely the biggest hit amongst the gifts. For how much it cost, we expected something very basic, even more so when we saw how small it is. Wow, were we wrong. The POV makes it extremely easy to know what it's doing and how to control it, even if the drone itself is hard to see. Flying is amazing, controls are easy, the automated/built-in maneuvers are exceptional, and - probably most important for something like this - it is, quite simply, massively fun to use. The only drawback is the video recordings are not very good. Light leveling is bad, videos are quite grainy, and though it says it's recording in 720, it looks much lower. It has bad pixelation, and on an HDTV, even perfectly straight lines seem to aliasing. Strangely enough, the photos come out quite well. Not exactly professional-grade, obviously, but considering the cost of the drone and the poor video recording, the photos are pretty good. Overall, a great buy, and a significantly better product than we expected before using it.

This drone was really good it met most my expectations but it was very fragile. The wing was stronger would cause it to get off balance and sometimes crash. Overall it’s a good drone but needs to be more stronger and heavier.

I bought this for my adult son as an introduction to drones. A few glitchy things with connecting via the phone but overall it seemed pretty easy to use. The video is decent quality for the price paid.

This is a nice starter drone for my 10 year old son. Picture and video are pretty clear for a drone of this size. The combo with 3 batteries is worth the extra cost.

Very cool little drone. The video quality is decent and the range is fine for a drone of this price. I used this with a PS4 controller (hooked to my iPhone) and it worked awesomely.

This drone has a superior build quality. It’s easy to maneuver and has solid builtin flight patterns.

I loved the video quality. But the second time i flew it it hit a tree branch fell to the ground and the motor wouldnt work anymore. Get the insurance for this product!

Fun and easy to fly. Hovers in place well compared to other drones in this price range. It didn't come with a remote so you use your phone, which works fine, but I recommend getting the gamesir remote which works very well with it. Be sure to do research when purchasing.

Drone might be great. I'll never know since the app needed to fly it doesn't work on my very popular Android phone (pixel 3a). It appears the app doesn't work with any phone running Android 10. So no pixel, Galaxy 10, OnePlus, etc phone can fly there drones. Don't take my word for it. Go download the tello app. You'll know right away if your phone is compatible. App hasn't been updated in almost a year. Looks like the recent sale is to dump a product they no longer plan to support. I'm really disappointed. Ill be returning it as soon as I receive it.

I purchased this entry level drone for my 12 year old. He can control it from his smart phone. We are very pleased with its quality and user friendly design.

My Grandkids love it and had to order new wings as they crashed it

This was a great product, good entry level drone with DJI tech and an Intel processor. Unfortunately for the past year it will not function with any updated Android phone using Android 10 (any Pixel Phone or Samsung Phone). You can NOT use this device without the official RYZE app and tech support is less than helpful, suggesting you use an older Android device to control it. You are essentially buying something that will not work out of the box. If this ever gets fixed I'd say buy it, otherwise don't even bother.

I liked it because it is my first expensive drone . But i have been thru 2 drones thru best buy in muncie, in. 1 day after the 14 day return period. One of the perpellors willl not turn. After comtacted best buy and slot of gas driving 40 min .3 times. No one will or can help me with yhe manuf. Warranty. All i want is s drone thst works. all i got is 200 in a drone i csn only look at. bull crap..

It doesn’t have a remote it’s done off an app and we got this for my dad who’s not super phone techy so we ended up having to return it

Wont Connect to iPhoneSE iOS 15.6.1. Will be returning and disputing the 15% restocking fee. From checking online it seems that you need a wifi extender which makes no sense as its supposed to connect to phones via Bluetooth. Just glad I didnt buy it online as then Returning it would be a chore.

Ordering online is a nightmare. Order in progress. Shipping delayed. No choice for canceling. Scared to purchase elsewhere for fear of hurting bank account.

App for this drone is discontinued. Look up the app before you buy this.
