Great movie compared to to old Power Rangers movie

I found this movie entertaining and humors in places. I also found it cheese and stupid which honesty I expected the whole movie to be that way but it wasn't so the 3 star review. The atmos sound track is very well done which helped boost the rating.

The Power Rangers came along after my teen years, but I managed to get into some of the story lines. This movie did a good job of following the previously set history of them, but did so with a better product than the original shows.

We don’t expect much acting from the rangers. The old ones were awful, but this one is good. It was different. It was like breakfast club meets the power rangers. I enjoyed it. They better get the green ranger in the next movie

Don't expect Iron Man or Captain America content or special effects but, if you just want some average movie time, this should fill that need. It starts off a little slow, as most introductory movies do, but it picks up later.

Good but not as good as the original 90s TV show, I was a big fan of the 90s TV show but this is good just not as good. The newer generation may like it but coming from growing up to the original power rangers it was ok

The film had excellent production values. My only criticism is, it took way to long for Power Rangers to go into action. Less than 1/2 hour of action in a 2 plus hr. film. Too much Breakfast Club meets Power Rangers.

I never saw the movie in theaters but for the $9.99 I payed for it and after hearing the "good" reviews on You-Tube I thought I'd give it a try. There I was expecting to be blown away by bright colors this Blu-ray was supposed to show and after popping into my Samsung UBK-K8500 and Samsung 65" UN8000F 4K TV, the picture quality was just too dark and lifeless. Even on the final downtown battle with the giant golden titan was disappointing to watch, it looked like it was filmed on a boring cloudy day. Don't spend more than $10.00 for it, it isn't worth it.

Overall the movie was just ok. The majority of the movie the characters were regular people not acting as power rangers. The time they spend as power rangers was small compared to the length of the movie

I grew up before the Power Rangers. The movie seemed more for kids. It was ok, not great. 3D would have made it better. I hate that movies are shown in 3D at the movies and only released in 2D on disc.

I picked this up for my kids and expected to introduce them to a part of my childhood. Sadly, this film adopted the style of so many other current origin stories, lacking in a straight forward approach to the main point of the story. In this case, Power Rangers. About an hour to an hour and a half into the film, we finally saw the Power Rangers in action. Because of this, the kids and I were both board, being that there was too much back and developmental story taking place. In terms of the product itself, the Blu-ray came as expected and everything worked fine.

Got this for around $6 on Black Friday. For this price, I have nothing to complain about; especially when it comes with DVD, Blu ray and Digital. My kid also seemed to enjoy the movie.
