It's a Tri-Fold Folio case, with a magnetic-strip. The foldable kickstand enables hands-free video chatting. I really like the foldable kickstand/cover because it automatically wakes my Fire up when I open it and allows charging without removing it!

The cover fits perfectly without obstructing the buttons and the magnetic base folds to make a sturdy easel to display the tablet. The cost is also really good compared to other options.

Average, leaves a few things to be desired

The construction and material seems adequate enough. Mine came with the top cover folded at the binding, connecting the front cover to the rear case. Seems to be fine, though I don’t want to have to wait another month for a replacement. The protective case seems to cover and mute the speakers somewhat, which augments the sound a bit, though it’s not a problem if you use headphones. For the price I was expecting a much better product. This does its job, but there are far better options on the market with more functionality and at or below this cost.
