When this originally aired on TV I was just a teenager and I loved every minute of it. "Salem's Lot" (this version) and "IT" are the best Stephen King adaptations ever made, especially out of the TV movies. Now it looks even better on Blu!

Great little TV movie Directed by Tobe Hooper.Creepy fun little flick!

Though this was made for TV, on blu ray it looks far more polished and cinematic. A true classic, only reason I did not give it 5 stars is there are zero special features. For me audio commentary and a making of featurette should be mandatory, I cannot stand bare bones blu rays. Other than that, again the movie looks and sounds great, just beware it is full frame.

I was very stoked to see this get the Steelbook treatment because I hadn’t really seen any format I physically wanted to buy of this until now. One of my favorite Stephen King stories.

Brings back childhood memories scary scary but good enough

Tobe’s Stephen King adaptation that’s a lot of fun! Mr Barlow has slowly become one of my favorite on screen vampires ever and this steelbooks art is freaking awesome!

This Stephen King adaption is a must see for any vampire fan! Great storytelling, and wonderful actors. A lengthy film, but would be great for a movie night! This is the uncut feature film, unlike what you used to find on VHS.

Old school horror at it's best in the spirit of Carrie and the excorist

This is a new collectible steel book. Highly recommended for any Horror fan. Just came out snatch it up while still in stores and at such a low price. Great quality and classic image. Don;t miss out.

awesome steelbook to protect your old school which still is a great movie, might look outdated to younger people, but this was a real scare when it first was on, of course best buy gets what you wat

I bought a 4K system from Best Buy and even the Blu-ray DVDs have an amazing quality. It's like being there and this movie is exceptional especially considering how long ago it was made. Huge fan!

This movie terrified me when I was a kid and even though it's more than 30 years old it's still gives me the creeps. Some would probably find it cheesy but I still find it to be one of the best horror movies to date.

I enjoyed this movie as a kid and I already own it on DVD but decided to upgrade to the Blu-ray version. It is not as scary as I remember it being when I was younger but still a great movie for a made for TV series

I am a huge fan of Stephen King and I enjoy most of the movies that are based on his books. Salem's Lot is a must see!! Again, steelbooks are great to collect!!

Classic movie. Great looking picture and sound. This movie was very good in 79, it holds up fairly well.

This movie is a classic, scary thriller In the 80's it takes place, storyline is great,will keep you amazed and will spook you in many scenes..overall its terrific to watch.

Favorite television mini series in the late 70s. Mr. Barlow was very scary and disturbing!Excellent DVD quality ? Also included is a digital copy.
