This is an old school horror flick that didn't disappoint. It has all the makings of a great horror film. Darkness, mood music, and poor acting.

Even after all these years several tense, scary moments. Of course it feels made for TV and the transfer quality is not as good as the original series Star Trek Blue Ray, but easily worth the price. Fix yourself a couple buckets of popcorn because it is 3 hours long.

We were looking for a movie to buy for movie night. I searched the local Best Buy online inventory and found this. Decent entertainment. Not long after we purchased it we received notification that we could pull up for curbside pickup.

I love that the Steelbook artwork is my favorite moment in the book. Recommended to fans of Stephen King and vampires that don't sparkle.

Glad to add this one to my ever growing steelbook collection. Seen this movie for the past 40 years and am a proud owner of this movie. So happy

Great Stephen king adaption really enjoyed the story characters and the vampires are terrifying

This is one of the most terrifying TV movies ever made. Tobe Hooper of Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame does the Stephen King novel justice. This movie is a scary must.

Didn’t know this was available on Blu-ray in this edition until it popped up as a deal of the day. Tremendous movie and great adaptation.

Have been meaning to buy this one for awhile. Just happened across it at a discount one day while browsing. If you like old school vampire movies, then this is a must have!

This is the first time I have seen the digital version in a package for one of Stephen King original classics. This provides you with freedom to watch on your mobile device or tv without the need of the physical dvd.

The picture quality for Salem's Lot the 1979 made-for-tv movie from director Tobe Hooper, is absolutely beautiful. The fact that it has a Tobe Hooper commentary is just icing on the cake. If you only saw it in TV back in the day, you have no idea what your eyes are in store for

This is one of my fav TV movies from the king of Horror. Sometimes is hard to put Kings words into live action, I guess it depends on the actors sets director etc. This one works well even after more then one viewing. Picture is better then the reg DVD print ,cleaner & sharper.

This is a classic. It seems a little cheesy now but it is still a great view.

Noce, sharp looking steelbook. Priced at only 12.99, you get one of the lesser known but very solid horror films. Only minus was no digital copy or dvd.

I always loved this movie since I was a kid. Great to have it Bluray now. The steel box was a nice touch.

What a classic, the window scene is my favorite part of the movie, nice steelbook I wish it would have been in 4k.

Corny by today’s gory standards, but this is how vampires should be: evil, night-dwelling beings horrific to look at...not whiny, sparkly people! XD

I didn't know much about this movie before starting it, apart from the fact that it had vampires, so I was especially impressed when I learned it was originally made for tv. It was quite scary for a tv movie and definitely has an interesting plot.
