For a TV movie Stephan King's Salem's Lot is a classic. Full of great characters and frightful suspense.

what a great classic stephen king movie that the whole family can watch in a blu ray format.

After 40 years (!), it not only still creeps me right the freak out, but somehow also gets me to jump in the same parts EVERYTIME. Every. Single. Time. It's a good example of how suspence, imagery and pacing when done right will always be scarier than gore and splatter,

Strays a bit form the novel but delivered a very satisfying mini series for the time.

This is a really spooky, Gothic horror film done in a classic style. The creature is truly horrific and James Mason is superlative (as always) in his role as the creature's caretaker. Don't miss this truly scary horror movie - they don't make them like this any more so don't miss it. Best Buys' price was great.

I've never seen Salem's Lot before. Through the years, I've heard friends and people on the Internet say how scary it was when they first watched it. Well, when I saw that it was on sale for a 4k, I had to buy it. The picture quality is great and as well as the sound. Tobe Hooper directed a very creepy movie, indeed. Especially for a made for television movie.

I had been wanting to see Salem's Lot for years and it did not disappoint.

This movie holds up really well today,the quality of the transfer is really good.

This is one of the early made for tv adaptions of a Stephen King novel that was good for its time and for what they could do on televsion.

This is a great scary vampire movie. Vampire looks like Nosfuratu!
