Basically I thought this microphone was for a desktop purpose to considering it came with a desktop stand and such. NO this is really an upfront and personally microphone. Meaning your mouth has to be right on the microphone to pick up necessarily clean clear sounds or voices. so if you are considering to buy it for youtube. I wouldn't anyways poorly sound I would no recommend it.

The hook up is much to big for the player. Big dissapointment when my daughter had friends for Christmas and had to share the one and only one that came with the player.
