Perfect for my speaking needs and very easy to use and test with the monitor feature. Improved the quality for my listeners instead of using an internal mic on a tablet . The volume controls are accurate as observed by my listeners. I would recommend this for bloggers and online speakers. By the way if you’re going to get this mic get a powered usb hub if you will use it with your tablets because the tablet itself will not have enough juice to power this usb mic.

First of all, the sound quality of this microphone definitely exceeded my expectations. It’s crystal clear, crisp and blocks out unwanted noise quite well. It is definitely well built, and very durable — perhaps, a bit too much though, as I’d probably lose a few toes if the mic ever came loose. The software is great! That is, if you are able to work with it. I have used Adobe Premier and OSX Final Cut without a single problem. This software is the only one I have ever had with any. Maybe it’s over my head? If so, then I’m sure it would be over the vast majority of others — leaving it to those who are very savvy with the program in specific to benefit from it. And I highly doubt they will be using a 20-pound, $150 mic, which could basically be used as a weapon; is extremely limited in terms of inputs/outputs, connects via USB B (of all things?!), and will likely require a $300 microphone stand to hold this behemoth in place. On the other hand, it works great for voice dictation, voiceovers, podcasts and other stationary tasks.

Good mic overall. I just feel like it’s a little too sensitive. FOR MY PREFERENCE. I record audio vocals. So when I record from home it could pick up on something loud outside. But for streaming I’d say it’s good as well.

Great mic for streaming and work meetings

Excellent microphone for the price. I use it for streaming and work meetings and it has done a great job. Makes my voice sound much more natural and full. The housing is quite weighty and heavy duty, but a good boom arm is able to hold it up no problem. The control knobs are great if you're going to be recording music with it but are not necessary if you're just using it for voice overs and streaming. I tried recording some cello on this mic as well and it does sound decent.

An all in one unit/ item, daw confusing at first but trial and error, you get it eventually
I use it for video meetings and plan to do video "gigs" with the group(s) soon/ base is heavy but makes it very stable, very sensitive but adjust with the computer and mic gain/ don't think it has phantom tho, need to try with clip on mic for my brass instrument but maybe not (?)/ may use use with a mixer but that's down the road if i need one/ great product if on a budget and not wanting to much equipment to connect and less clutter....."i really like this product !!!" (Best Buy has a great price and curb-side pick-up during this crazy time)

The Samsung G-Track Pro, 4 Years later...

I physically purchased this mic from my "local" Best Buy back in 2017. For the next 2 years, it was my main mic for my main rig until I wanted a headset with a mic because I didn't like any position I could place my mic arm (Also, I'm not a fan of mic stands that sit ON my desk in 1 place... I have to hunch over & lean in to speak. Either that or adjust the mic volume knob to turn myself up & down accordingly...)
I jumped around for the next 2 years, from Logitech, to Sennheiser, & even my current gaming "headset" from Bose. What I have learned from doing that is, no matter how expensive & or recognized a company or brand is doesn't always mean the best in voice in quality for headsets.
I was going to purchase a new mic (Whatever the highest recommended online for voice quality is) until I found my G-Track Pro while putting some stuff away in my storage. I plugged this bad boy in, fixed some audio settings in windows, then joined a call in discord with some of my friends & they immediately heard a difference & asked if I got a new mic.
I told them it was one of my old mics & they said it's the clearest they've heard me. While in the call I found this amazing feature on it. I call it the funny mic setting. To do this, all you have to do is turn the mic volume knob all the way to the right, then the funny is active.
In all seriousness, this mic has held together for the past 4 years, (2½ of active use) & after all of the abuse it's taken from me for ****post status memes with the bois in Discord, it stills sounds like it did day 1. The volume knob is a little loose but still works. Back when I used to mess around in FL studio, I tested all of the features like the line in for instruments & headsets, which all work. If you want to get this mic for making music/samples, do a little more research 1st... Like I said I used this in FL, but i'm no musician... I'm not sure how everything is supposed to sound in the sense of music creation, however, if your gaming, talk a lot online, or are just tired of getting made fun of because the quality of your current mic I highly recommend this one . I have some friends who have Yeti's & all of them agree that this mic is slightly better in clarity.
I only have one gripe with this mic & its the mic arm. It's firm & dependable for awhile, however, eventually the 2 springs that retract the arm back will start to stretch & not be able to hold the mic up in the exact position you want. Maybe for a few seconds but then it starts to slide (drop now for me...) down to the current stretch of the springs. As of right now my mic is hanging on my desk caught by the adjustment knob to tilt the mic. It's at around the same height as an actual desk stand when like that. Whenever I use my mic, I have to balance the arm on itself so it's not heavy enough to just fall down. Now that I'm, thinking back to it, I'm pretty sure that's the main reason I switched to headsets for awhile...
Overall this is a great quality, clear, & durable mic with tons of audio format options to choose from to your liking available in windows.
Final Verdict: Mic Gud
If you want to see what I'm talking about with the mic arm, here's a very short vid I uploaded to YT.

Great Mic for Musicians

This microphone sounds great and it's very easy to set up. It's a quick plug and play. I would recommend this if you're a musician because you can use it as an audio interface as well. It has a direct input which allows you to record two separate tracks for your vocals and instrument. There's a microphone gain knob and headphone monitoring input.
It's a pretty sturdy and heavy mic, so it's not ideal if you're looking for something portable and lightweight. It works well with my PC, but it does NOT work with my iPhone 7 or iPad. There's an error that states the microphone "uses too much power", which is why I didn't give it five stars.

Great Plug-N-Play USB Mic for Voiceover Work

I am a professional Voiceover Actor/Producer/Coach working fulltime in my Bremerton studio. Because I coach beginners as well as veteran VO talent, finding microphones to help people get into the business at a lower cost is always on my mind.
This G-Track Pro is a reissue of an earlier Samson USB microphone that has been really upgraded for professional sound quality. Microphones used for VO work can cost upwards of $200 to $1500 and still require an expensive preamp and cables to hook them up to your computer for recording and editing. USB microphones get a bad rap in the VO Industry sometimes, especially from talent who have the expensive gear, but you gotta start somewhere and I would challenge anyone to compare the audio recorded on this microphone (in a well treated & soundproofed booth) to more expensive microphones & chain, to see what they think.
It is very heavy and well built, lots of metal on the stand, body, and screen. Only plastic I found were the knobs.
If used on the provided stand, it needs to be isolated from the desk or tabletop by a soft cloth, silicone mat, or other padding since it is very sensitive to vibrations. Hoping to find a matching shockmount from Samson that would help tremendously with this and then mount it on a desktop Boom-Arm.

Great Professional Quality Mic for Streaming

This is a great desktop microphone that is well suited for streaming. The base is heavy and the mic is certainly a quality build. Other positives are the mic has great sound, and is easy to setup and begin using immediately. The downsides are the design in that the volume control knobs feel kind of loose, the USB cable that attaches to the bottom of the mic drags against the base (poor fit), and the mic does not come with a foam cover. These negative points keep it from receiving a five-star rating.

I’m not a podcaster or anything, I bought this specifically for streaming, I tried out the blue mic and got a dud soo thought I’d try this out for its other features. I love this thing, it’s got lots of controls for mic and sound input the Omni mic is great for picking up music (I’ll sometimes live stream myself and put this guy right by my hi fi system) it carries over great. If I had to give it one con it would be that the mic is reallllly sensitive to background noise, it’s an easy fix but I mainly put the dial up about .03% just to pick up my voice for gaming. As for the sound it’s probably the best I’ve tested, I tried hyperx and blue and this one has a nice deep rich sound where as the hyper x was like a built in headset mic and the blue came really close but had less bass in the voice which is what I was looking for. The biggest pro of this mic is without a doubt the sound this thing carries in monitoring, capable of outputting 48khz (forgot the low end) I pretty much got rid of my PC dac and plug my senheisers straight in for amazing sound, even for just watching YouTube and listening to music the built in amp is absolutely amazing and I feel like it’s often overlooked in reviews.
P.S. this thing is built like a tank, so you might need a higher end boom arm if you want to go that route.
