This device works as intended, and then some! It comes with software and the ability to plug in an instrument. I only need it for for my voice, so it is way overkill for me. It is well built, solid, and has good weight. The only drawback is that a pop filter needs to be purchased separately.

This microphone is wonderful. Easy to use; Great Sound; Extra-Multifunctional. It is plug and play USB powered. It is heavier than most, but that adds to the feel of quality. Be aware of what type of boom mic stand you would need to support the weight. Purchasing a pop filter is highly recommended.

This mic is sophisticated yet simple to use. I appreciated the adjustments to tuning and easy to start guide. We used it to record a trumpet audition and this mic provided a quality recording.

I use this camera for streaming and recording voice and acoustic instruments... The instruction booklet is very informative and the learning curve is not steep at all for beginners. Offers great control and amazing quality. 10/10 microphone, better than the blue yeti in my opinion.

This thing is built like a tank, so much so that people with toddlers running around should be worried about the toddler and not this mic. It sounds great. My only issue is that the USB cable has a noise filter on it and it's causing the cable going in to the mic a stressful bend.

We are very satisfied with the Samson - G-Track Pro USB Microphone. The quality of the sound is excellent and the unit is easy to use with the extra features. (volume, mute button, etc.) People who hear us on the other side say that the quality of the sound is fantastic. Thank you.

    Decent sound but low gain

I wanted to add a USB mic to my kit for those times when I needed something that was plug-and-play, and I thought this would be a bit more robust than the main player (Blue Yeti). Overall, I like it with two caveats. The sound is good, as you would expect from a large-diaphragm condenser mic. It offers great functionality with cardioid, omni, and figure 8 pickup patterns. There's an RCA jack to plug in an instrument, and it will record in either mono or stereo, which you don't often find in mics in this price range. The zero-latency headphone jack works well. It's solidly built--it's too heavy to hang from a light-weight boom, but it's designed for a desktop, anyway. The downsides? The gain is pretty low. I have to crank the volume and then add extra volume with my recording program. And because it's a condenser with an fairly open mesh, it REALLY should come with a wind sock or screen, especially since a standard wind screen won't attach to the funky legs. Still, for $130, it's a good solid mic designed for podcasters or semi-pros.

I almost bought a Blue Yetti and boy am I glad I didn't. The day I was going to buy the Yetti I saw a comparison video of the G Track Pro vs the Yetti Pro and when I heard how much clearer and how much more bass the G Track pro had I knew i had to get it. I've honestly never used the interface on the back but I have recorded singing with this mic and it was decent but that was expected from a now XLR mic so not really a complaint. But yeah the mic is awesome and I was recommended it to any pod cast host, streamer, YouTuber or just someone who wants a new mic

I needed a quick solution for an issue and grabbed this. I have been extremely pleased and very surprised with the quality. Had a few nice option and built very well. It is heavy and stand use can be a challenge due to the weight though.

This is an excellent mic for USB, Id put it up with the Rode/Shure in terms of sound quality via USB. If your local sales associates try selling you on a Blue Yeti instead, tell them to take a walk. This mic has a better noise floor, does a better job cutting out unwanted noise without using 3rd party software, and offers the same different recording types for different uses. (Cardioid, Omni-directional, figure-8 etc.) It also includes a 1/4" headphone out for zero latency monitoring, and one of my favorites, a 1/4" line in which can be used for instruments or playing audio off a separate source (such as a phone with an 1/8" to 1/4" adapter). The mic monitor out sounds surprisingly good for being off a usb mic, and pushes enough power to drive the power hungry Senn. HD650's, just dont expect it to be as good as an amplified signal. LED with red peak indicator is a nice addition for setting your mic volume when not using the monitor line. Definitely would buy again, and is a perfect mic for anyone wanting sound quality without spending the money on a higher end xlr to usb interface/mixer and mic.

Everyone who watches my stream says my sounds is REALLY good. When I first purchased this mic I wasn't expecting too much from it. But then when I found out the quality of it was so good I am very pleased with my purchase. Having the headphone jack in the back also was convenient. Keeps me from having to plug my wired headphones to the back of my PC which is actually sitting quite a distance away. With their being so many other popular brands of mics, I have to say with this being my first purchase I didn't make a mistake. Just a note: When using the headphone jack in the back of the mic, you need to make sure that the input and output frequencies are the same in your mic window settings so that you dont get interference.

Easy PnP audio solution. Sounds great over MS Teams for work calls, and for Discord chatting with my friends while gaming. The only complaint I have is that the USB connector on the bottom of the mic doesn't come with a 90degree adapter.

Its the best mic I do have blue but I like this because it has instrument connectivity which make my guitar to play along amplified. Mic mode patterns are also there like omni stereo and cardioid pattern Must have mic all in one. Only a bit heavy.

I’m from using a AT2020+ USB mic before using this and not only is it bigger, heavy but have a all around clearer vocal output. I highly recommend using this. But please remember to turn off the mute button lol

Purchased to be able to use Blackboard Collaborate through school and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I mainly bought at first sight due to the option to mute directly from the unit rather than going through settings, etc., great to have rather than trying to toggle on off and take a chance that you might have accidentally not muted the microphone. You can set how you want the microphone to pick up sound, mono-aural, bi-aural, etc. Lots of features and the software that comes along with this for free is FAB! Definitely a must for podcasters or YouTubers. There are a lot of accessories that you can purchase to go with this unit as well, looking at the boom spider holder next. Definitely recommend, especially for the money. Thing is built like a tank...don't want to drop this on your foot or bump your head into it...ouch!

Solid build and easy to use. However, there is an issue. This mic is easy to fall into a non-responding mode and mute itself. No way to recover unless disconnect the USB cable. It seems to due to the poor shielding of the USB cable provided. With a better shielding USB cable, it becomes more stable and issue less seen, but once a while it might still happen. Maybe need another even better one.
