This mobile mic is by far the best value for the money!

Overall it’s good system but auxiliary input response is delayed

It doesn't work with the included cables if you're using it on a DSLR camera for videos. You have to get a TRRS to TRS adapter. This is more for use with a cell phone. I just wish that if the company knows this and still doesn't include the adapter, at least mention it in the description and offer it as an accessory. The mic seems to be decent quality. If it wasn't for that, it would have gotten one star for wasting my ti.e and creating so much frustration.

I used this to record a video with my Nikon D3300. Everything worked like a charm... until I went back to listen to what I'd recorded and found a couple of random drop outs that made the clip unusable. We did three more takes and encountered the same problem each time, i.e. random drop outs at different places. Unlike horseshoes, close doesn't count when you're trying to produce a video for which you won't have another recording opportunity so I've got to reluctantly give this a thumbs down. (Kudos to Best Buy for making the return as painless as possible.)

This thing is awful. The audio keeps dropping out, it is so unreliable. I'll never use it again. The way the windscreen attaches to the mic is flawed too. Guaranteed to lose it.

This has never worked correctly. Unfortunately I bought it months before I needed to use it, when I finally got to using it I discovered it just didn’t work well. The mic would appear to be working and then you’d pull the video only to find the sound stopped midway. This was with a person sitting! Purchased a new Lav mic assuming a wire was broken inside and nope. Still couldn’t hold a connection. PIECE OF JUNK, CANNOT RECOMMEND.

Worked for the most part. There are times when audio would get cut off and nearly impossible to fix on post. Don’t buy this if you’re using it for work.

Poor quality for the price. We returned this item. Lots of crackling and other noise when used for recording. There are better options out there

One of the pads that grip to the phone broke off on first use. Audio went in and out, not reliable.

Cheap quality yet not cheap in price. Not a fan of this piece of junk.

This product had a lot of static issues when going far

Microphone didnt work- the gain was too high even after adjusting it, and the audio was scratchy and terrible. Luckily had back up audio from two various cam angles otherwise my production would have been a bust. Id recommend getting higher end microphones vs these ones.

We bought this to be able to capture audio further from our camera, as our Rode mic needs us to be fairly close. This audio was terrible. It sounded echoey, distorted and the footage was unusable. Maybe this is okay for a quiet space in your home but why wouldn't you just buy a podcast mic if that's what your doing.

Very poor quality. Muffled sound no matter what we tried. Called the company directly and they told us the batteries were the problem. Tried lots of different batteries and they were obviously not the issue.

I have a Canon T6i it did not work. Even the person working at best buy told me it would. WRONG! Plugged it in did not work happy I did it before. I do car enthusiasts interviews. Always test your gear beforehand folks. -Humbly Driven

I bought this for podcasting and live recording. The first one broke within a week of having it. I returned and got a second. It’s cheap and has poor quality. You can find better.
