Still have great confidence in RMA process. But mine did not work on arrival (arrived during pandemic, no way to get support in person). I thought it was a problem that would go away, so I did not reach out to customer support early enough. Bestbuy gave me two weeks' coverage/warranty, so I was out of luck there too. RMA return policy process requires customer to pay for shipping to factory. This was very surprising! They'll pay to ship it back, but quite shocking that I would have to pay for a product that arrived defective. My problem is that cardioid and -10dB toggle switch settings were broken. Omni worked and sounds like a nice microphone, but it picks up all the ambient noise. I wanted this microphone because of the directional microphone setting. Hopefully customer support will come through for me! Will update with more stars hopefully! Probably just unlucky, like a 1 in a million problem since so many had great experiences...

I love the size, weight, clip, and possibilities with it, but there is persistent static that is simply unbearable in recording or using with video conferencing (Zoom). I have a request out to Samson to figure out if it is a defect in the device or some solvable problem that I'm experiencing. Really hope this can be solved...

I purchased this for Zoom meetings, right at the start I new this wasn’t for me, I didn’t like the settings as far as sound and hearing myself it was weird I’ll probably try it again and try to perfect it. It seems simple to use and set up but at the end of the day I just didn’t like it.

After purchasing this microphone, we took it home and plugged it in only to find out it did nothing. No Windows app or system dialog could detect it, other than Device Manager, which returned a Code 43 error that the device "reported it was having problems." We tried updating drivers, UI uninstalling USB drivers and reinstalling everything, rebooting the system, and every other listed step. We even went onto the manufacturer's website to find they don't offer any drivers. The site specifically says "plug and play, no drivers needed!" Maybe this works for someone. That's great. But apparently, it doesn't with either of our Windows 10 computers.

When you plug this in it stops using your computer speakers and directs it to the plug in the microphone for a headset. I have gone into the settings and disabled this but still can't get sound through my speakers when it is plugged in. Wish I had not thrown the box away because I would have returned this item.

Bought this to help me during an online job interview. It almost sabotaged my interview. Didn't work like I expected or according to the instructions. I have never used it again. It's a paperweight, and not a very attractive one.

Outside of box had no information regarding power requirements. Store personnel could not tell if it is battery operated. Had to purchase to open the box to find out it had to be plugged into a computer to power it so couldn’t use it. Obtained immediate refund.

could not get the motu software to work. called motu customer service,and they told me I was sent an old one,and to reregister it again with using any day in September. I tried this several times, and it won't work. what should I do now?

i returned the microphone because it cut out the computer speakers from working. possibly a conflict of ports. but that's on the manufacturer to provide paperwork to resolve these confllcts.

This microphone is subpar. Honestly would recommend being patient & saving your pennies for a better microphone.

I would recommend this to any garbage can, as this microphone did not perform at all. It was completely static and choppy. I am never buying another samson product again

Never did work right. I would not recommend it, even if it looks cool.

It may have a good sound but I never got past the size.

Bought a Samson Go Mic March 30, had static even after uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Tried to contact Samson 4 times (3 by email and 1 by fb message). April 20 I still hadn't heard back so I returned the faulty mic and got a Blue Snowball. Same price point, unfortunately bigger, but works much better.
