Purchased this for my son’s setup as his Yeti Compass would not fit on his desk properly as he doesn’t have a large enough overhang of the desktop to accommodate the mounting bracket for the compass. The screw mounting bracket included with the Samson was ideal for his setup. I lubed all the hinged areas as other viewers noted with lithium grease, but the Samson unit is still really stiff. However it is working very well and he says that it’s way better than the compass in positioning and adjustment. We did use the Blue Yeti shock mount that came with his Yeticaster and it screws into the Samson mount arm easily. Giving one star off due to the need to lubricate out of the box and the minimal cable routing compared to the Compass which was a nice feature. Overall a good value and if you need a screwed in setup this arm works well.

Pretty solid, im happy for this item. I have a stand as is but sometimes i dont feel like moving up close to the mic to talk since i have a dynamic mic. This fixed that issue quick.

Boom arm is very sturdy and amazing the only reason i'm making this 4 stars is bec what is attaching to the lower part of your desk is plastic to hold the top heavy metal up which is concerning.

There are not as many adjustment options as I’d like, but it does the job. It is a sturdy metal arm that feels super solid.

The boom arm was easy to install and works great! I added an adapter to have it hold a camera.

Being a streamer i always make sure i get the best items i can, when i seen thia product i had a little doubt cause it only came with one microphone adapter. But luckily it fit my razer siren perfectly. Its a very versatile boom arm and it helps adding more space on my desk aswell as cable management for the microphone!
