The mic clip is a slide in and doesnt work too well with my old thisck mic. But thats me, not the fault of the stand. Its sturdy and you cant go wrong for $20 bucks!

I bought this to use with a calibration microphone and room acoustic correction software. It's stable enough to place on uneven furniture and strong enough use fully extended.

The stand does its job. Great stand for the price. Almost the same as the higher dollar stands out there so no need to overpay. Samson makes good products.

The stand stays tightly where you position it. No problems, except for the fact that in mine did not come with a microphone grip. I had to purchase one separately.

So far so good. Nothing jumps out that says it would lose its durability over time. Seems sturdy.

I bought this to use for an overhead drum mic but it was way too short for that use. Could not get it to a usable height no matter what adjustment I tried. I also like the option to be able to remove the boom , which you can't do with this product. Removing the boom is not a deal breaker especially for the price, but be aware of the height adjustment constraints.

Bought to replace an expensive one broken by family while jamming. Great for the price and plan to buy more for multiple microphones.

sturdy enough for most uses. Great that this was stocked Locally, as I needed an extra mike stand quickly on a Sunday.

I had went to several stores looking for a mic stand. But they were all $50 and up. I didn't need a heavy duty mic stand as I was only going to be using this stand for when I played rockband on my PS3 and so far this one has been great. Good value!

This is a super sturdy stand that collapses down to a very compact package. The only down side is that I wish it were about 6" taller. For an average height singer, it works fine, but personally I would like to have a little more play. Not a negative, just an observation. Really like how small it breaks down.

I bought this when I forgot my favorite stand at home, I was in a time constraint and preoccupied. However I found it to work much better than my other stand in terms of assembly portability and durability.

Has been a good mic stand, not super durable or anything, but will get the job done and work well for environments where it's not getting moved around a lot and beat up.

I have used this stand in my home studio for about a year now. I haven't had any issues. It's not designed for stage use, so I wouldn't recommend it for that.
