Good quality mic stand and can easily be setup to mic an amp, drums, guitar, and works great for vocals. If youve searched diffrent sites you will see that most stands are around this price but with a fixed boom. This movable arm allows you to get the mic just where you want it. I have 2 mics one being a pound and this easily handles it. another nice feature is folds up pretty small for easy storage. It does not come with a britsh thread adapter. Just standered threading wich should not be a problem with most people. If your a home recorder or do small gigs this stand would be perfect. If your dealing with larger events or a 1,000 dollar mic you probbably wouldnt be looking at this. as there isnt a weighted base.

Unfortunately, I didn't realize it was broken and it was too late to return.

So I bought this in Feb of 2014, just an impulse buy. I figured I would keep it in my trunk because most gigs I was playing either didn't have a stand or they had a straight stand (I play and sing, so I need a boom stand). This thing has traveled across the country, back again and been passed around with other acts who were abusive to it, even though I was gentle, and this thing is still going strong. I got it on sale and glad I did. It has a lot of "shows" mileage has is still kicking. I'll actually be sad the day it breaks and I'll most likely keep it for sentimental value, haha!

This stand works well and the price is fair. It collapses well, folding into an easy to carry size. The position is adjustable and easy to convert for folks of differing height. When purchasing, I did not notice that neither the stand or mic I chose came with a clip to hold the mic on the stand. Thank goodness for duct tape to save the day!

I needed a relatively cheap boom stand for Audyssey calibration for my HT. This is product served that purpose very well at a great price. It is well-constructed and highly adjustable. In addition, it collapses down to a size which is very convenient for storage. It is highly recommended. Also, a mic clip is included, which might save you some money.

This mic stand works as it should. You can adjust the height and also the length of the boom. This mic stand is used for acoustic measurements for my home theater.
