My current setup with this mic stand is Blue Yeti with Blue pop filter and they both work great with this stand. When first got the mic stand i was actually surprised on how well built it is for the price. Getting the mic stand ready to be used is so easy, it is a tool less setup. You'll be up and ready to use the mic stand less than 5 mins. So the only time the mic stand has problems is when you have the boom arm extended to far out horizontally while using the blue yeti. The reason its a problem is because the blue yeti is an heavy mic so if you have the boom arm extended to much it will tilt since the mic stand isn't that heavy to even out the weight of the mic. IMO that is probably the only issue I have with the mic stand. PROS: • Well built • Many ways to adjust • Easy to store away within seconds • Holds weight of Blue Yeti CONS: • When adjusted all the way horizontally with the blue yeti, the mic stand tilts due to the weight of the mic and the lack of weight of the mic stand.

Really like this stand, extra light but sturdy. Nice economical handle too.... I love it. A little bit pricier than other boom stands but not by much and totally worth it!

This tripod-based stand is relatively stable for small microphones, but can get a little shaky with large condensers at or near the full reach of the boom. Thankfully, it's been designed well and durable enough that a bit of rear-weighting can hold it up with no trouble at all. The frame is built strong enough to take a few bumps without being damaged. It's a simple and compact design, making it easy to transport and store. There are cable clips included with the stand, allowing you to keep the cable from floating free and becoming a trip hazard or producing sound from bumping against the stand while in use.

I think the Samson mic stand works very good. It was easy to use and the stand held the mic very firmly. Overall good for the price.

I bought this stand because I had purchased an iPad holder (also at Best Buy). The instructions for the holder said that it could be attached to a microphone stand in order that I could take time lapse pictures with my iPad. I was easily able to attach the iPad holder to this microphone stand with little or no effort. It was a perfect fit for the iPad holder. I can now position my iPad to take pictures or video at almost any angle and also have it almost at eye level. It was perfect for my needs.

Exactly what I was needing, the only problem was the holder was for a slim microphone, and the one i ordered was larger. So i ordered an adapter and it works great.

Easy to set up, lightweight--an important consideration for equipment-hauling musicians. When I set out that day looking for a mike stand, I was delighted to see that Best Buy had them available. In the past, this type of stand was disproportionally expensive, but not the case at Best Buy.

Strong stand for a great price can hold my mic and reflection filter up pretty well

The mic clip is a slide in and doesnt work too well with my old thisck mic. But thats me, not the fault of the stand. Its sturdy and you cant go wrong for $20 bucks!

The stand does its job. Great stand for the price. Almost the same as the higher dollar stands out there so no need to overpay. Samson makes good products.

So far so good. Nothing jumps out that says it would lose its durability over time. Seems sturdy.

Bought to replace an expensive one broken by family while jamming. Great for the price and plan to buy more for multiple microphones.

This stand is worth the money for sure, it is reliable and sturdy
