||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The clasp for the shoulder strap pops open randomly for no reason. This occurred a couple times the first day I used it. The first time or two I was picking it up when it happens so it didn't fall. End of the day leaving work it fell off my shoulder behind me. When I opened the surface book that was in it the next morning it no longer recognized there was a hard drive. So didn't protect well from a fall of 18 to 24 inches. Returned the product.

Problems

Samsonite wants me to bring it to their service location. I'm no happy about $80.00 spent and a basic function that doesn't!!!!

In less than two months the thread started coming apart. However it was on sale so you get what you pay for. Not more durable than the Kenneth Cole brand.

Good bag, but strap doesn't hold

HOWEVER, the strap clips onto the bag in a way that the weakest part of the clasp (where it opens) bears the greatest burden. Several times now, 2 weeks into owning it, while carrying a normal load, the clasp simply opened, allowing the bag with my brand new Surface Book in it to fall to the ground. Fortunately nothing is broken... yet.
