Would not recommend. Nylon fabric tore between zipper and front of backpack within 7 days of purchase. Son only used it to carry laptop and notebooks to college classes.

I bought this for my Alienware 17" R4, turns out this is too small to fit the laptop inside. In short, don't buy if you're buying it for Alienware 17".

Can't say enough great things about it. Strong and extremely comfortable to wear. My husband can carry his laptop and many extras. He loves being able to easily access items from the top pocket.

First day using it, I went to tighten the shoulder straps, and the fastener snapped off! Returned it and went with a Swiss bag instead. Much better.

Very well padded. Fit my 17" laptop perfectly. I don't keep a lot of other things in the bag besides the power cord but it does have many pockets and dividers to keep things seperate.

I had this for a couple of days and frankly I hated this backpack. I would not recommend purchasing this at all

This laptop backpack was too small for my new laptop computer. Don't buy it if your screen is 15" or bigger.

it has a large space for my new lenovo 15'' yoga 710. the laptop compartment still has spaces for a tablet or another compact ultrabook such as my acer c720 chromebook. laptops seem very well protected. the space in the main compartment is large and i can fit my square rubermaid lunch box. it is well comfortable on my back. the materials feel like it will last long.

I purchased this bag for a larger lap-top (HP Pavilion - 17.3 inch) and was more than pleased. I had originally planned on buying the Swiss Gear bag, as I have used those before, but the size was not quite what I needed. This bag lives up to its Samsonite name in quality, and has a nice, sleek look to it as well. It is roomy and well-padded, and plenty large enough to fit not only my computer, but the cooling pad and a few other accessories as well. If I had any complaint, it would be for more variety in color, but at the end of the day Quality wins out.

Reduced one star because it is on the heavier side for a laptop backpack. Otherwise, a quality backpack; with an adjustable laptop rack; which gives a snug fit for the laptop. I use this for carrying around my 15 inch macbook pro. There is a lot of storage in this backpack and the inner lining is soft. One annoying thing i came across was that, the main compartment has a pocket that obstructs the access to the same, esp; if the pocket has thick objects inside it. I fixed this buy sticking the pocket to the innerside of the main compartment, so that it doesn't hang around. Love the red accents on the black.

I will keep this simple, it is just big enough to barely hold my large HP Envy m7 17" laptop. There are very few options on the market for large laptops and this one fit the bill. Unlike a few of my previous backpacks, this one doesnt seem to get bulk. It has a great headphone pocket that is soft and semi-crunch proof due to its location and design. I use it for my computer mouse and accessories. It is built very well like my prior backpack - the high end Samsonite backpacks are worth every penny, so dont go for the low end of knock offs. This backpack will last me several years if not longer. It has lots of pockets, two side drink holders that dont flop around with loose material. There are so many pluses to talk about I cant cover them all here. I highly recommend.

I purchased this backpack, because it was rated for a laptop up to 17.3 inches in size. Although, it will work for a laptop of that size it is just barely so. You really have to play with the zipper to get it zipped closed. Other than that the pack is wonderful. Lots of pockets and places to take accessories and offices supplies.

Great bag from Samsonite, that matches my needs quite well. I have been traveling for quite some time and I really needed a bag to keep me organized AND comfortable. Found it. Holds my 13" Macbook Pro, iPad, Sony Vita, 2 sets of headphones (1 plane, 1 regular listening), various battery backups, cables and some rolled backup clothing if the check-in luggage doesn't show up. Its rugged and perfect.

I was shopping for a laptop bag. my local Best Buy store only had a few for my 17 inch laptop. Most were backpacks. I chose this one because of the name brand, Samsonite. I was not happy with the color. (I wish that they had it in different colors.) I changed my mind once I started using it. This bag is awesome. I'm able to put EVERYTHING in it and still have space. I've put my laptop, folders, pencils, phone, etc. It fits nicely!! I LOVE THIS BAG! It's not bad on your back or shoulders either. I'm sold!

This bag really has a lot more storage than you'd think it did by looking at it. I've been able to hold two laptops, various cables, ipad and a few work related books in it with some compartments to spare. Great bag and it's really held up well to my use.

After looking at all the options avalible I decided on this samson laptop book bag.. Really impressed with all the pocket's and how easy it is to carry arround.. A lot better than my old breif case style laptop bag.

Looks great and very sturdy. Couldn't be happier for it to be the replacement to my old bag. Tons of pockets, inside and 2 outer for drinks as well, space in the zipper in case you want to lock it.

It has plenty of room for everything that I need to put into the backpack, but the straps are a little small.

I bought this for work to get rid of my briefcase - yes not a milleneal! This is a great backpack - lots of compartments and protects my laptop. Well work the buy - got it on sale.

I purchased this bag as transport for my grandson's new ASUS 17" laptop. Please be aware that even though the bag description indicates that it holds up to a 17" laptop this is not always the case. The 17" ASUS gaming laptop does not fit the bag. I will be returning it in hopes that the only other bag that might work will be a fit.
