    It’s rare but even Samsung can send out defective products like this one. Right out of the box I had problems opening the door on this microwave. Did not even had the chance to use it. I put it right back in the box and going to Best Buy for an exchange.

    Awful. Takes twice as long to cook everything. I will be replacing it. Shower every fingerprint.

    Bought this in October 2018 and just stopped working today. This is 2nd Samsung appliance I have had issues with. I am going back to American made products (if there are any these days).

    Terrible, I bought 3 of these and 2 of them don't work. They both wont open with the push button and one turns on when it's opened. I think they installed the microswitch in the wrong spot

    It didn’t work in my space bc the cord was too short and on the wrong side so it didn’t reach the outlet.

    The quality of this microwave is very low, the door is stuck after using it about 3 times. You have to press the button in one hand and use the other hand to pull the door out. Not recommended this product.

    Faulty Door Mechanism

    The door mechanism on this model is faulty. I have a certified Samsung repairman coming for a third time before they will refund me. I do not want a replacement unit as the door issue seems widespread.

    Samsung makes good TV, not microwaves

    Samsung electronics are good, this microwave is not. I bought this in June 2021 and as with others, the door open button has failed. The door will not open without using two hands. The spring is too weak to push the door latches up far enough to allow the door to open so I have to push the button with one hand and pull open the door with the other. The grilling element never worked all that well (just use a convection oven or stove top). The microwave is also more noisy than my 35 year old Litton microwave that got fried by Potomac Edison.

    Two weeks ago, I decided to get rid of our old GE microwave for a couple of reasons. The paint on the inside was peeling after years of cleaning, the wheels on the turn table had rusted and left rust stains on the floor of the microwave. The worst offender of all was the infernal beeping, which drove my husband up a tree. My husband and I also wanted a smaller microwave that would take up less space on our counter. Finally, we budgeted between $100 and $150 for our next microwave. We went to three stores before we ended up at Best Buy, because this store was the farthest out on our route. My husband's main criteria was a microwave that could be muted with a button on the panel, or at least with a series of panel pushes. We'd read about this feature online, but once we were out on the road, finding one was like trying to find the elusive leprechaun. None of the models at the other stores had a mute button, and the majority did not have a manual to ascertain if muting was an option. When we arrived at Best Buy, we were approached by a sales person in the appliance department, and my husband described what we wanted, mainly the mute feature. He looked at my husband like he had two heads and said, "Most people want to know when their food is done." I was sort of stunned. I think we are pretty capable of telling when the microwave stops without a beeping alarm that sounds like a garbage truck backing up. There were two microwaves on display with the mute button function. And wonders of wonders, manuals were available to peruse! While I realize I could have looked up a manual on-line with my iPhone, that is time consuming. How great of Best Buy to have a manual available! Because it was Labor Day week-end, this model was on sale for $144.00, which obviously fit in our budget. Besides the mute feature, I was super impressed with the ceramic interior (no peeling paint), and the metal free turn table (no rusting). At this point, we didn't even know about the crisper feature! We just wanted a microwave that was in our budget, didn't beep, and was easy to clean. I was also surprised at how quietly and easily the door closed. Our old one sounded like we were closing the vault to Fort Knox. After using this for a week and a half, I have to say that I am extremely impressed. The food heats evenly, even during defrost mode. The crisper feature works, although that isn't very important to us. It's more like a novelty than a necessity. The microwave is a little larger than we wanted, but sacrificing an inch of space on my counter is worth all the great features. I am extremely happy with this microwave and would recommend it to anyone.

    We got this microwave Oct ‘18 and we had problems from the beginning. It did not warm our food all the way through or evenly. Now, March ‘19- it broken completely. Not even 6 months later. Don’t waste your month. Not worth it.

    Purchased on October 1. It quit working on November 15. That's the review- it doesn't matter what the problem turns out to be. After 45 days, I should just be happily using my microwave.
