Bought two, both broke

Bought my first one and it had a horrible rattling sound when running, easily 5x louder than any normal microwave so I returned it and gave it the benefit of the doubt and picked up the same unit. Less than two weeks after the 1 year warranty, the microwave started failing. It shorts out for hours at a time and it's becoming more and more frequent. No point in contacting Samsung since it's two weeks out of warranty. I cannot recommend a Samsung microwave to anyone after two bad ones in such a short period of time.

Broke after 3 weeks of use

Do not buy, not a good quality for an expensive product and get broken after 3weeks of use.

Don't let the brand fool you

After about six months, there were a couple times that it sparked and the lights flickered, but everything got better after unplugging it. However, now there is a loud humming sound and it does not heat anything up at all. If left on for about a minute, an odd smell comes out. The warranty is only valid for up to a year, so now there is no choice but to buy a new microwave. I have always been a Samsung fan, but this was a real let down.

Countertop Microwave - Stainless Steel " Do you see the word; BLACK in the description? No, it states ' Stainless Steel'. The ONLY SS is the trim on the front! It's 95% BLACK! Maybe Samsunk should have added Stainless Steel FACE!, Black case, Going back. I would recommend this to a friend if they like Black!

Fire hazard !!

Then at 2 years 6 months the microwave started to smoke from inside. I was reheating a leftover on a pyrex plate. Lucky that it did not burn my house down. I think that there is a defect in these microwaves. Look online regarding samsung microwaves. Stay away from this brand.

A Piece of Junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find the 4plus stars reviews puzzling as based on them, i purchased this microwave on June 30, 2016 and it died on January 14, 2017. I never really liked it as I found all the extras it was supposed to do never really worked for me but I used it for simply heating up things, and it lasted about six months. I also find that other websites gives Samsung microwaves one star and the sites are full of complaints-now why would that be so different than Best Buy's website? Something doesn't add up here, but needless to say I am very, very disappointed in this product. I hope Samsung will back it up.

Stopped working after 3 mos.

Called into Samsung to see what needed to be done to have it fixed since I only owned it for 3 months. Found out I have to ship it off to Samsung for them to see what is wrong with it and if it can be fixed. So for at least 3 weeks we won't have a microwave. I do NOT live in a small town but Samsung does not contract with anyone for service in my area. HORRIBLE service!!! I recommend buying no products from Samsung and definitely not this microwave.

Misleading Ad

It is black - matte finish- with a stainless steel frame around a black glass front. This should not be advertised as stainless steel. Since it does not match my other appliances, it's going back.

Quality Issues

Right out of the box I notice one screw was missing at the lower right of the rear panel. I called the store and the lady was supposed to have the appliance sales person call me but have not heard. The other issue I noticed is the way the glass turn-table mounts. I think is a bit loose. Also, I don't think it heats evenly. I feel I do not have to deal with this matter from a brand new unit. I am returning this and will probably get a Sharp. I bought this to replace my 10 year old Sharp whose door button broke. But I like the controls and over appearance and quality of the Sharp. Hopefully, they made the door button more durable.

Very Poor Reliability

Unfortunately, it is 3 weeks beyond the warranty period and the cost to repair it is more than the price of a new microwave oven. My previous microwave ovens had lasted more than 10 years.

dangerous

The only way to stop it was to open the door. Then it started turning on by itself . Expensive for just 2 years of use and turned out to be a dangerous . I wish I could get my money back. I won’t risk buying Samsung microwave again.

This is the worst microwave EVER!!

When we first brought it home it worked great, but about two weeks ago it stopped cooking our food properly. Example; A baked potato that normally takes 7 minutes, now takes 12, a frozen meal that should take 4 takes 10. I have tried to get in touch with customer service and they are no help.

Cheaply made

Clock doesnt work. It will not turn on unless you hold it at a specific angle. No quality here, so you might as well buy the cheaper units from the off-brands.

Do not buy

She loved it until the one year warranty was up, when the microwave shorted out and died. I had not extended the warranty because what microwave doesn't last more than a year? Samsung.
