Having young kids means you use your microwave a lot. We went through three different sub-1.5 cubic foot microwaves in about 18 months (1 Panasonic, 1 GE, and 1 LG), each of which broke with less than 8 months of usage (figure about 3x per day). Thank heavens for the 2-year Best Buy warranty I purchased on each of them as BB just let me replace them with another model each time. Figured I'd give the Samsung a try and was very happy with it. Well, we got exactly 28 months of life out of this one before the door release mechanism has given up the fight. Of course we are now 4 months outside of the 2-year BB warranty so i guess I'll have to try something else now. Microwave worked very well (and frankly still does), but it's nearly impossible to get the door open now. I would have rated this 4-4.5 stars, but I still don't think an appliance should break in only 28 months. I should have immediately brought it back when I started seeing the occasional door release issues about 6 months ago.

Solid microwave. Haven't used all the features but it works as advertised.

This Samsung microwave oven is a good fit to our Samsung line of appliances and it's been working great without any issues for past couple of months. Great product.

I replaced our 30+ year old microwave with this unit. Although I'd originally looked at the micros that also had air fryer capabilities, along with the grilling feature, I could not manage to overcome the price point...plus those units would not fit in the space allocated. This is a pretty nifty unit. The husband uses the micro only, with none of the presets, but I find that I use the whole features list. Suggestion: I preheat the grill coil for about one minute before placing the food in the unit. Also, as the grill coil is really only on the back half, I also place my food off-center so the food will rotate under the coil.

Hands down this microwave was a great purchase. It does everything that I need it to do and quickly warms, cooks and defrosts food. It is a stylish addition to my kitchen and has a great brand name that you can rely on for known quality. The price was reasonable also.

Microwave met my criteria, 1) light on when door is opened, 2) numbers easy to read, and 3) good reviews. Also found that interior with enamel finish cleans up well. Have not used the automatic features to any extent. Light on when door is opened is actually a big deal to us.

We purchased this microwave because it was stainless steel. The microwave was easy to use for the most part although you do have to read the directions for some aspects of use.

Bought this to replace an old one and it's working good, have not used all the features yet but I'm happy with my purchase

Work as it should. It has a nice browning element. The keypad works as expected although at times it needs a little extra force. The kitchen timer works perfectly and reverts back to the clock when the time expires, no need to do anything. The sound alert is a standard 4 beeps that are pleasant. The only thing I would like to see is the keypad backlit. Overall I like it.

This has been a good microwave so far. I like the color of the ceramic Inside and that it doesn’t show every food splatter but is also easy to wipe. The food has all come out heated evenly and does not taste rubbery. I would like to have received more information in the manual about using the grill and combi options but nothing I can’t figure out with use.

Fits well on counter. Buttons are intuitive. Interior is easy to clean. Note that the watts isn't as high as some others. Takes a bit longer to warm foods.

Love the look and enjoy the ceramic bs other styles. Highly recommend

Awesome new microwave Samsung just made with grilling capability. I like the ceramic inside rather than the traditional epoxy type. The quick touch cooking is easy and this looks nice on our countertop.

Okay so I'm not sure that I should really give this microwave a 4 star except for the fact that I really like it. It is solid and simple to use even with all the features. Gotta admit though - I never used the grill feature on my first one....maybe this time. The reason I did not give it a 5 star is because the first one of these I bought only lasted 3.5 years. Is this a normal lifetime for a microwave anymore???? I did buy a second one of the same model though.

I purchased the Samsung - 1.1 Cu. Ft. Countertop Microwave - Stainless Steel (Silver) for my new apartment and am totally pleased with this purchase. It's the perfect size for a countertop and it has additional features such as a grilling that keeps food crispy.
