Most reviews I read before purchasing were positive, except for one which actually warned that this microwave shorts out. Now I have to waste my time to return this junk! I just recently got rid of a Kenmore microwave I had for 15 years because of a slight discoloration of the screen/window. I should've listened to the single warning. BTW, this could have received a no star - only other option available was 1 star. Proceed to buy at your own risk!

Not very powerful at all

I picked this one after some research, including the high reviews. However, after a few weeks of use, I really don’t understand why it has such a high rating. It is not very powerful at all. Granted my prior microwave was 1100 watts and this one indicates that it is 1000 watts, but if it were really 1000 watts it would not take twice as long to heat food. It also reminds me of a much older microwave, in that it retains moisture as well as odor, something I haven’t seen a microwave do in years. I am returning it. I definitely would not recommend it.
