I purchased this for a friend & than bought myself one shortly after. Very sleek looking.

This is a good microwave. The sensor button works well to microwave potatoes. The design of the microwave is nice. I only wish the handle was made of metal instead of plastic.

Solid microwave. I've had this microwave for 4 years and no issues. My favorite part is the dial--it looks futuristic!

This is a great microwave for the price...but when folks say the light is to dim...it's true. Actually it's fine when the door is open. However the door tint is so dark that you literally can't see your food cooking....I can't overstate this...it's not just an annoyance. The door might as well be opaque. I really want to give this one star. . However, if you can deal with this the microwave is a nice microwave for a nice price. I can't so it's getting returned. Disappointed.

I like that this microwave is dark inside. I thought I would like the knob for adjusting the time as well. But it turns out that this is a hassle if you need to microwave for long periods of time. Also you can only increase/decrease the time in 10 second increments. There is no kitchen timer. I use my kitchen timer on my microwave as much as I use it to heat food. So this is disappointing. I'll be returning this microwave and picking a new one.

I loved this microwave, looks great, wonderful features etc. etc. We purchased September 2016. Today, it would not shut off. We had to unplug it! 15 months! I would think a microwave should last longer than that. Won't be buying Samsung again.

I bought this microwave so I won’t have to share with my family since we all get up for work at the same time and prepare our lunch. It worked good for about a month and then it started turning on by itself and it won’t shut off unless I leave the door open. I’ve tried disconnecting it but sometimes it turns back on as soon as I connect it again..while it’s “turned on” by itself, you can’t use it because as soon as you put your food inside and close the door it’s on but it doesn’t heat up anything..it just rotates the food and makes the same noice it makes when it heating up food..really disappointing because my parents microwave is a Hamilton beach microwave they got at Walmart and it works so much better! This one didn’t even last 2 months..

The complaints most people have with this model is the lack of a kitchen timer, not being able to see the food when the microwave is running, and not being able to set the cooking time without pressing 2 buttons first. I have no need for a kitchen timer and to see the food while it's cooking. But I find pressing 2 buttons before turning the dial to set the cooking time annoying. Other than that, it does everything a typical modern microwave is designed to do.

This is a good looking kitchen appliance with modern controls. It works well, but is not very powerful - cooks at least 10% slower than the cheapo unit we got rid of (same specified power rating). It takes a little getting used to not typing in your exact cook time, but you can add time in 10 second intervals with the dial very quickly.

It's beautiful, works well, and easy to use once you get over the learning curve. However, my BIG complaint is that the interior light is soooo low that you can't see inside to know if what you're cooking is about to boil over. The light is on but it's just not bright enough. Samsung makes great products and we own several, but they dropped the ball on this microwave. I should have exchanged it but that window had closed by the time I realized how much this bothered me. I've had and used many microwaves in my 60+ years and never have I not been able to see inside during the cooking process.

This is a very interesting microwave. I love the design. I love the dial that allows you to adjust the time while the food is still in the microwave. Rather than stopping the microwave to reset the time. It is so easy to clean. I just wipe and everything usually comes off.

There isn't a zero star rating. That's all the one we purchased would be getting for this review. We purchased the microwave on March 4, 2017. Day two it wasn't heating evenly. There were cold spots in our food. Day four it was taking longer to heat. Day eight (last night) we were popping popcorn and it wasn't heating. We blamed it on possibly stale popcorn so we heated a single-serve bag for 4-minutes. The entire microwave, inside and out, became as hot as an oven at 375 degrees. You couldn't even touch the outside it was so hot. We opened the door, unplugged the unit, and waited to see if the counter top was damaged due to the extreme heat. It is going back today.

Bought this oven yesterday and returning it today The food when it's cooking can not be seen because the door glass is very dark and the bulb is too dim to see anything A real smart idea!!

I chose this from the Best Buy description which states it is a convection microwave. When I picked it up, I didn't see the word "convection" anywhere on the outside of the box so I became suspicious. When I mentioned this to the man waiting on me, he checked on the computer description which said it was a convection microwave. I brought it home, unpacked it and read the instruction manual. I was right, it is not a convection microwave. It goes back to Best Buy tomorrow!
