Samsung Low Profile microwave.

I get so many compliments. I bought regular size and Best Buy was great to let me return that when we figured out it wasn’t going to work. This low profile one was the perfect size for our space. I am so pleased with this modern look. We can’t wait to get full effect after remodel.

one fatal flaw

But I purchased it because my mom is nearly blind and I thought the lexa integration would be a blessing for her... It's almost perfect: you can tell Alexa or Google assistant to turn on the fan, light or even set a timer but ... You can't remotely turn the microwave on with Alexa or Google assistant. This is crazy. After some research, it looks like it's Samsung covering it's legal butt from being sued for other people's stupidity or malice. Nothing can be done. I'd sign away my right to sue if they could bring that feature back. Still giving it 4 stars because it's otherwise a great microwave.

Product is great best buy delivery not so much

The microwave is great and installing it was easy enough that i was able to do it alone. The sense settings are fantastic and never leave us with dry or over warmed leftovers. Delivery on the other hand was a nightmare. The delivery team cancelled my first appointment without notice and I found out by calling the geeksquad team. I was given a case number and a rescheduled delivery, but no offer of compensation. (This has happened with every delivery I've had with geek squad.) If you can get it at the store do that instead.

Seamless shopping experience at Best Buy

Repeated Samsung Failures, including this one

Despite the very light usage, the unit completely failed in less than two years. It died mid-cycle while heating milk. The display went blank, and both the microwave and vent fan stopped working. Only the lights still function. There was no power surge, no heavy cooking, and no unusual use. Given how little this unit was actually used, this kind of failure is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated experience with Samsung products in our home. We have also purchased a Samsung washer, dryer, and a 55" Samsung LED TV before. All of them malfunctioned after just a couple of years. When I contacted Samsung regarding this microwave, they stated it was out of warranty and refused to offer any goodwill repair — despite the extremely light usage and repeated reliability issues across multiple Samsung appliances in our household. At this point, it feels like a clear pattern of poor product durability and disappointing customer support. Major appliances and electronics should last far longer than two years. Based on our experience with multiple Samsung products, I recommend everyone stay away from Samsung this brand.

Installed with in 20 minutes buy Best Buy and I love the look. Took me a little playing around with it to learn the functionality. The light is incredible with the three brightness settings, the exhaustion is killing it! Highest setting is very loud, but clears the air. I can fit everything I did with my old countertop one. Cooks a lot quicker too In the settings menu you can find the timer, stop turntable, and so on. Haven’t used the smart options, but will soon. I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Great OTR microwave, bad service from Best Buy

I love the slim footprint as it allows much easier access to the cook top. The led lighting is fantastic. However, the cook top light glass was broken inside the box. Best Buy was less than helpful, and I had to have a service call from Samsung to get a replacement glass, which took 13 days. That was inconvenient. Still love the microwave, I just wouldn't buy another major appliance from Best Buy again.

Bought it on a very good deal! Works wonderfully well. The ventilation power is among the best in class. Although the alexa/google integration isn’t of much use except for turning on/off the hood and lights.

Worst Product with Known defects

I have purchased two of these microwave units within a two-year period, and both have failed prematurely due to the same issue: a complete loss of heating functionality. The first unit failed just one month after the express warranty period expired. Samsung's customer service provided a repair estimate that was not commercially reasonable, as it exceeded the cost of a new replacement unit. This practice is unconscionable and constitutes a bad-faith effort to avoid providing a viable remedy for a defective product. Based on the advice of your service department, I purchased a second unit. That unit, however, ceased to function after only nine months of use. When I attempted to file a warranty claim, Samsung's representatives refused to honor the warranty, citing the illegibility of the product's serial number due to fading. It is my position that the failure of a critical identifying marker, such as the serial number, is itself a manufacturing defect and cannot be used as a pretext to deny an otherwise valid warranty claim. The identical nature of the defect in both units strongly suggests a latent manufacturing flaw in this product line. Samsung's refusal to provide an appropriate remedy constitutes a breach of the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. I have incurred financial damages in excess of $1,000 and am left with two non-functional appliances. This consumer experience is unacceptable and demonstrates a fundamental disregard for product quality and customer satisfaction. Potential buyers should be aware of these issues, particularly the risk that the serial number may fade, potentially nullifying any future warranty claims.

Strong Performance by All
