So far so good. This was a Medium sized Microwave at a very good price with some great features. Smart looking and stylish. A little bit noisier than I expected at first but seemed to quiet down a bit after a few uses. Perhaps the Magnetron breaking in. Overall very satisfied. Would recommend to a friend.

We've bought this unit to replace our 27 year old Kenmore (Amana) microwave. What a difference! Smaller footprint but so much more room, power and features. Love the one-touch to heat/reheat beverages and popcorn (really, that's what most of us do with a microwave). Grill feature is nice for pizza and top-browning though not using it as much as we thought we would.

I just bought this microwave after my other one broke after 3 years. So far so good. The design of the microwave is perfect and very good looking. Very easy to operate. The control panel is sharp and easy to read, unlike my old one. I use my microwave mostly for reheating and it does just fine. Even though this microwave had less voltage then my old one it is perfect for what I need.

It’s a really neat and clean looking microwave to add to your kitchen counter. Our old one by a different company used to take out our internet when we used it, so it’s nice to have one that doesn’t EMP your kitchen. It takes a bit longer to heat things up but it is very quiet and the heating is very even.

A beautiful machine! Large microwave, but doesn't look bulky on the counter top. Love the mirrored glass, and it performs as expected. I haven't tried the grill function yet, but I can't wait to give it a shot! I catch myself looking at it when I'm in the kitchen just because it looks so nice!

This microwave is amazing. It has a sleek, modern clean look. The settings are excellent and include a grilling option. I recommend this all around. My Husband and I, have four young son's and this microwave is a life saver!

Bought this for our first place together and its wonderful! It has all kinds of functions that are easy to use. It comes with a manual and believe me; read it! It looks amazing in our kitchen and it's so easy to clean. In love with this and always using it to reheat our leftovers.

Compact, easy to install, exactly what we needed. The mirrored door is a little much because I can clearly see myself in it but its not a big issue. I would recommend.

Best microwave I've owned. Wish I would have gotten it sooner! It heats up so fast and I don't find my food being hot on the outside and cold on the inside. Also, all the of the features are amazing! So many options!

Looks great easy to use and easy to clean! My kids were able to figure it out without any instructions. At 8 years old they can use it anybody can. The outside look keep the area clean and modern. I would recommend it to anybody.

This is a very nice microwave for the cost, very good value. It has the grilling feature, which is usually found on higher cost units. The finish is also very nice, looks very modern and is actually nice to look at. The inside light is a bit dim, however, the food can still be seen while cooking. I only have two things that I can say are cons. The first is the wattage, 950W is a little on the low side for this size microwave. Definitely takes a little longer than my old GE, but I really think that's just a "getting used to it" thing. The only other one that I'm really surprised is the lack of instant on cooking. My old GE microwave had auto cook feature, meaning, you hit the "1" button and it would automatically start cooking for 1 minute. Hit the "2" button, and you had 2 minutes. It even had a 30 second cook button. This one you need to hit the 1, 0, 0, then start to get it to cook for a minute. 4 buttons instead of only 1. Even the 30 second button only puts 30 seconds on the clock, you still need to hit the start to get it going. Overall it's not a deal breaker, but it's a bit disappointing that a microwave with so many other high end features leaves out shortcuts that my 8 year old microwave had. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and feel that I got a lot of microwave for the price.

I've written quite a few product reviews in the past, but never have I seen so much debate and misinformation about what would seem to be a simple kitchen appliance! A lot of the reviews I have read here are either mistaken in their details or are trying to compare apples to oranges. Samsung (or whoever the Samsung dealer on here is) has only added to the confusion, unfortunately. First, a few points to set the record straight. The appliance is NOT covered in stainless steel. There may be a bit of it in the trim, but it seems like whoever wrote the description hasn't actually sen one in person. Most of the outside has a black, textured metal finish, which does seem to blend in quite nicely with my own black and stainless steel kitchen appliances. It may not blend in with a kitchen that is all stainless and has no black in it though. There is a bare minimum of plastic in the construction, which is limited to the trim, "open button" and part of the door latch. I have not had any problem keeping either the highly polished front door clean nor the outside of the appliance. In fact, the texture of the black sheet metal on most of its outside surface actually prevents it from becoming a fingerprint magnet. Another misconception comes from the grill rack that fits inside. Some people have mentioned that it is only to be used in the grill mode, which is not true. The rack can be used in the combination grill/microwave mode just fine and your microwave will NOT burst into flames. From the manual, page 11: "Grill Rack, to be placed on the turntable. The metal rack can be used in grill and combination cooking". It will even "work" in the microwave-only setting, although it won't contribute to the cooking process at all. In fact, the main feature of this appliance is the ability to both microwave AND grill at the same time, and you can't utilize the grill to any effect without the rack in place. This brings me to the main point of my review. Those who are most critical of this appliance are simply comparing it to a microwave. This is an apples vs oranges type of logic as the addition of the grilling element really makes this an unfair comparison. Is it heavier than most stand-alone microwaves? Of course it is, because it has an entirely separate heating element, electronics and carries the additional weight of a ceramic enamel interior. This is really two appliances in one that work together seamlessly to greatly enhance the texture and heat distribution of foods such as pasta, pizza, crusts, etc. The additional heating element also makes the appliance larger than stand-alone microwaves, which is entirely understandable to me. This also explains the slightly lower wattage rating than some heavy-duty microwaves. If used with the grill though, it seems to cook items just as fast as a microwave with a higher wattage rating. Adding to the weight is a metal exterior that uses a heavier gauge of sheet metal than the vast majority of stand-alone microwaves on the market. The reason for this is pretty simple. To keep people from burning themselves when coming into contact with the appliance. Without the heavy-duty (which is necessarily heavy) inside and outside finishes the device has, it would eventually lead to someone getting accidentally burned. For those who wonder why it doesn't have more capacity or more wattage, the reasons all boil down to safety. You can only add so much shielding to keep the size (and cost) of such an appliance practical. I think that Samsung engineers did a pretty good job at balancing safety, size and materials to keep this at a reasonable cost for a device that offers so much more than a simple microwave does. In regards to cost, I have seen the price of this product fluctuate wildly over the past few weeks. At one point I believe it was $179 (shipping included). Then it went up to $230 (shipping NOT included). Today, it is down to $148.99 with free shipping. I have no idea what the MSRP of the unit actually is, but for the quality of construction it has and the features it carries, it seems like at bargain to me. For me personally, this product is just the right size for the foods I cook and offers a lot of flexibility as to how I can cook things. The polished surface makes it by far the nicest looking appliance in my kitchen, ever. It reminds me a lot of my Samsung Galaxy S4 cellphone, actually. All in all, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I would recommend it to anyone. If you have no interest in the grilling feature you probably wouldn't want to buy this though, because it is definitely more expensive than a stand-alone microwave. If you are only going to use it for microwaving it is overkill. I'd never go back to a regular microwave after having used this though. I am too spoiled with this product's cooking ability at this point. In any event, I think that it deserves more praise than it seems to be getting here. Try it for yourself and I would bet that you won't be disappointed.

I love this microwave. It is stylish and functional. I love the reflective exterior, and it stays surprisingly clean and free of fingerprints, even though it gets constant use. I love the grilling ad crisper feature. It works well. The microwave is a little less powerful than some other models, but that translates to maybe an extra 30 seconds... if anything. I also love that it isn't annoying when you leave something in it. It beeps one beep every minute or so but it isn't obnoxious like the last one we had. I did a lot of homework before the purchase and I am extremely pleased with this product.

Pros:Works perfect. Affordable price. Cons: too bulky for a regular cabinet. Check cabinet dimensions before buying.

I needed a top rated microwave at a great price and I found this. I love the look with the sleek design and so far the performance is exactly what I had been looking for.

I've been using this product daily at least once since I received it. It is beyond incredible. Not only is it a superb microwave over (and very intuitive at that), it will also allow you to cook a pizza (on the crispy plate - both bottom and top at the same time, in less time than heating up your oven and cooking a frozen pizza the traditional way.

Guests say wow where did you get that microwave? It's sleek and modern looking, there so many buttons and options! We LOVE it! OMG it broils! And does so so much!!

We had an LG that lasted less than a year and was noisy when it was working. This Samsung is quiet, better looking and so far very reliable.
