Why are microwave doors so dark?
This is necessary to keep the microwave energy inside of the microwave. It a required for both the operation of the oven and for safety. If it was not there the energy would not stay in the microwave oven, it wouldn't cook your food and it would be dangerous for you"

I have had this since July of 2020 and it’s been smooth sailing. I will say me and my partner don’t use it as often as anyone would since we do cook more often, but it is always nice to use when in a time crunch.

Otherwise, this is a great microwave for the price.

So far so good with it; however start button need to be pressed on dead center for it to operate. Other than that everything is ok.

Clean the oven regularly to prevent impurities from building up on or inside the oven.
See page 19 if the door won’t open or close smoothly. The door cannot be opened properly on page 55. The buttons cannot be pressed properly on page 54.

Not up to Samsung Standards

I can't figure out the "Sensor Cook". My last Samsung you just hit the "reheat" button and it did the rest. This one you have to select a number for "whatever" and warmed up two different plates with same setting, one was over-cooked and one was still a little cool. I can only hope it breaks and I can use my warranty to replace it. But it looks great!

The glass is made of Borosilicate glassware and is used in the microwave oven because it is highly thermal resistant. Glass is a non-crystalline, hard but brittle solid material formed from a mixture of silica and silicate.
This is necessary to keep the microwave energy inside of the microwave. It a required for both the operation of the oven and for safety. If it were not there, the energy would not stay in the microwave oven, it wouldn't cook your food, and it would be dangerous for you.
Microwaves make all kinds of sounds while running. Most of these are normal and should not be a cause of concern. Food and other material in the microwave are typically the sounds you hear. Please see the link for more details.
