I've been using this microwave for a few months now. It works good and seems to be reasonably built. The blue light display is hard to read at times.

very good, the price is reasonable, and the quanlity is good, just one thing not very good, the power of vent is not strong enough, so sometimes the oil and smoke doesn't come in and i still can smell it in the kitchen.

This is a great unit for the money. It was easy to install above range in an existing location where the previous (ancient) microwave died. It has good power and fairly even cooking. No problems or complaints. If you want more fancy features, you'll have to invest more money.

I probably wouldn't buy this again because the automatic reheat is set for too much time it's a little difficult to understand how to start and stop.

Opened the box to find one necessary screw missing. Called Samsung, they said they would send but would take 14 days. Called Best Buy and they said to come back and they'd find me the screw from their floor model. My husband installed microwave by himself. When it was up he saw that there was a large dent on the bottom of it. We hadn't really noticed the torn cardboard, looks like a forklift had an accident with it. (With a box this big and heavy, we did not flip it over to check the bottom) Called Best Buy again and they immediately ordered me another one and had it delivered directly to me instead of picking up at the store. Best Buy backed up their product. A week later I received a call from Samsung saying they could not mail be out the 1 screw until I faxed them a copy of my sales receipt. How stupid of them. I told the person how insane their policy was for one screw and ended the phone call. Now I understand what many people have told me about Samsungs problem with customer service and parts availability. Microwave is working fine now, a few things I don't like are because of the way the glass is in the door, you can't really see into the over while cooking and the lighting inside is terrible. I don't like the blue lighting of the clock. It just looks odd. When the timer goes off, it only beeps twice then repeats the beep every 30 seconds or so. I've never had something do that, usually they beep until you shut it off or open the door. The door also feels flimsy to me.

Lasted 10 years, worked great! Definitely will purchase a similar one soon

It cooks and heats food well, which is what one buys a microwave for! The control logic is much more intuitive than some other new units.

When it comes time to Register your Protection plan good luck... Best buy is no help.....

Product arrived with a dent on the front panel, but the worst part is the abnormal clicking noise the fan/motor makes while the microwave is operating. This is going back to the store. I am usually a Samsung advocate, but in microwaves they have a poor quality product.

I had a problem oncew with the customer servive at Samsung. I decided to give them another shot because I needed to replace a Whirlpool microwave that died after 2years and needed something specific, so I didn't have alot of choices. We got the microwave, but there was no installation manual, no user manual, no templates nothing.Also the box was sealed so it's not like anyone took the items out, when I called Samsung the bottom line was they wont send the manuals without charging the customer, even though I paid for them when I bought the product and they didn't include them. I even escalated the problem but they could care less. So, to save a couple of dollars on postage, they lost a customer.

Purchased this item on 08/2012, by 07/2013 it broke down, buttons became unresponsive, I reported it to Best Buy, they said I had to contact Samsung. The microwave has been on and off until about a month ago when it stopped working completely; contacted Samsung and after going through so many steps and emails they finally called and said service repair would cost $180, not worth it, will rather buy a new one. They said the warranty expired but I had reported the problem before the year. The last microwave I had lasted for about 7 years, this one didn't last me a year, still looks pretty new and will have to throw it away.

Mounting screw inside machine collapsed during installation, poor workmanship in my opinion, installer damage in Samsung's view. Now have a machine that can't be installed, bought a GE, gave the Samsung to Goodwill.

I was thrilled with this product. But after two short years it will cost more to repair it then replace it. The repairman warned me that the Samsung and LG microwave only last around two years. I'm so disappointed. First time I have written a review, but I don't want anyone else to lose money.

I ordered online - first one came in damaged - dented on side - returned to store they shipped me a new one - installed it - worked for a couple months then stopped heating. They came and got it and repaired it brought it back out - worked for one day - then BAM - stopped heating again. It works great as a vent hood and light - but not as a microwave. Also the glass that covers the light cracked and shattered one day from the heat of the bulb / cooktop.
