    Poor Vent Performance

    Like most kitchens, the over the range microwave acts as the vent-a-hood. Unfortunately this unit's suction power is nearly non-existant. I can place a napkin under the air intake and it falls to the stove cooktop. Unit heats amazingly, just can't cook bacon, steak etc, w/out smoking out my whole house.

    Got some dust on the face from installing and when I wiped it off with a damp towel, the finish scratched up. Maybe not noticable from guest but I have yet to use it and they stick out like a sore thumb..

    The OTR microwave wasn't a perfect match. The color and finish was an exact match to the oven I bought, but the led display isn't exactly the same color and it's considerably brighter than the oven. It was also surprisingly small on the inside.

    Bought a new home and decided to replace all of the Frigidaire Gallery appliances that were in my kitchen with Samsung appliances. I am unhappy with this microwave as it takes a great deal of time to warm up any food. It takes 2-3 x's more time than with my previous microwaves. It's annoying. I had called Best Buy for warranty service and they told me it was working properly. I would never purchase Samsung appliances again. Wish I could give less than 1 star, or zero stars.

    This started off with sticky buttons. Difficult to push. First month, popcorn preset overcooked, caught fire, caused smoke damage

    Handle does not match my oven and it’s an eyesore.

    Delivered on 3-11-20. Will be returning. The stores have the handle that has the true stainless handle on them. When it was received it had a dark handle on it that looks so very different with my oven since it is above the range. Store said in May have been a different manufacturer and reorder in hopes that I would get the one that matches. I am doing that but it will be refused if it is the same. Now to get the simple microwave I wanted I will have to spend more to get one with no handle. Disappointed.

    This is the third one I brought, all three stopped working around the two year range. It turns on as usual but just stops heating the food.

    Too big and not enough power for the size

    Very low power when turned it on. It’s huge but the power it gives doesn’t match the size of unit had to return it

    Bought one of these, damaged in the box so returned it. Waited a week for another one to be in stock. Bought the second one and it worked literally 3 times before it quit the very next day - stopped turning, stopped cooking! Returned it as well. Seemed very unusual for Samsung but bought it to match my dishwasher and fridge! Bext Buy did not have any more in stock and had to buy one elsewhere

    Major malfunctions just after warranty expired

    Just off of warranty, the heating unit and transformer stopped working and need to be replaced. This is approximately a $300+ repair with labor and ridiculous for a relatively new over the range microwave. Samsung is hard to work with and I am very disappointed in the functionality of my Samsung appliances. 3 of 5 have needed repairs that have come just after the warranties ended. One 1 of 5 needed fixing just after it was installed. Never again.

    Broke 7 days in use

    After using the microwave for about a week the unit went dead during use. I waited 10 days for Geek Squad to come out to find out the thermostat died. It is going to be another 11 days before they can get it replaced which means I used it for 7 days and will be without it for 21 days. It is installed in the wall so I can't really replace it with another model as the mount won't match. Highly disappointed!
