Just installed so the rating can change but it seems to be a decent product that looks sleek and decently sturdy for the price. I had a GEJVM1540DP1BB that had the magnetron die and this model has almost the exact same frame as all of the existing holes and brackets worked for this unit which saved a ton of time as I didn't have to drill any new holes into the upper cabinet and even the existing bracket that was screwed to the back wall was the same (Looked slightly different but the hooks were the same). Even the dimensions of the unit are pretty much exact so if you are replacing the same type of unit I had then I would definitely go with this unit as it is a similar unit (both entry level) and makes install a breeze. I noticed after one day of use the shiny black front has faint scratches and swirl marks from something as delicate as a paper towel wiping it down but that seems to be consistent with all shiny black appliances. I do like the location of the light better than the GE since it is closer to the front of the unit instead of the back so it lights up the area better.

excllent and nice looking microwave, works perfect

We have had the dreaded SE error twice now. About 1.5 years after purchase and now after another year and a half. Samsung actually came and fixed it free of charge the first time since it was pretty new, but from what I hear that isn't standard practice. It's worked great except for the vent when you boil pasta - that's what caused the error. Too much moisture gets in the control panel. We had a spaghetti dinner last week and now this week again and it pretty much did my microwave in. If you boil any water/pasta a lot beware of this product.

My wife and I wanted a simple stainless steel replacement for our boring tan microwave that stopped working. We received quickly and the instructions were pretty clear. I do wish a fee more wood screws were included (only 1 is provided, the rest are toggle bolts).

I wanted a simple to use microwave. Not a lot of bells and whistles. This is it. It's just what I needed. I just wanted something stylish over my range to cook minor food stuff and reheat. I love it.

Have had this item for about 2 months and works great. Only thing i noticed is that the fan is a little loud but I hardly use it so its not too big of an issue for us.

Love the look of this Microwave, price was standard to most other units we were looking at. Works perfectly for what we need to replace in our kitchen. No issues as of this time.

Function button hard to push, Timer if being used will not allow user to cook food. Unit cooks good.

Measure! Unit works great Looks great. If the dork who delivers it says its too big to install, don't listen. Any good handyman can get it done.

It work well the only complaint I had with this product is that is quite noisy and it is not the noise that a common microwave does. We tried to see if was due to installation but is not, I read other making same comments about this. Otherwise it work well

This microwave looks great, has good power, and has been very reliable for us. For the price, you can't do any better.

Had this microwave installed about a month ago. The screen you press to enter time, etc is so hard to push I anticipate it will crack in a very short time. Their customer rep says it will get easier in 6-8 months. I have only heated or reheated things but I am used to using the kitchen timer function. This microwave can only do one or the other. If you set a timer for the rice cooking on the stove, you CANNOT heat a cup of water for tea. Customer rep told me that is the way it is designed. I have owned microwaves for 35 years and they have all been able to multi task with their timer. Oh well, I guess I will just have to reprogram my family. Haven't used it a lot, but am not impressed.

The unit has two major problems. First the rotating plate inside the microwave wobbles. It can only touch two out of the three wheels that support the plate. I had a Samsung tech come out to fix the wobble, but he said it was a design flaw and that Samsung didn't think it was enough of a problem to replace the unit. ??? I checked the unit in the store and it had the same problem. Next as other reviewers might note the fan is really loud and the two speeds don't lower the volume.

Great product, we’ve had it for over a month and works perfect...

Had the microwave for 5 years and it stopped heating. It would cost more to repair than to replace it.

Gets the job done and it looks nice in the kitchen

Luckily I plugged this in before installation because it was broken. The turntable started spinning as soon as it is plugged in & the light inside stays on. If I try to start the microwave the start button doesn't even work! Called Samsung & they wanted to send out a technician. Um...no thanks back to the store it goes.

We have had 3 of these! We get it replaced because we have the extra warranty through the store, but each microwave lasts only about a year. Warranty or not, we will not buy Samsung again. Well... I am going shopping for our 4th microwave. Good luck!

It seems kind of cheaply made. Be careful because if your holes in the wall or cabinet do not match up with this one you will need to make new ones. Installation cost is just as much as the microwave.
