The Samsung microwave was damaged during manufacture and had a severe dent in the cabinet, with NO damage to the shipping carton. Hence, the factory shipped a known, defective product. Fortunately there were no parts in that damaged area. I'm not saying a slight dent, this was a crease in the cabinet on the side, back, and top so it took quite a bit of force to do that, it had to be a known defect prior to boxing. The laminate sheet "buttons" take a lot of force to press for setting cook time. My wife has to press with two fingers, one on top of the other. The bulb that illuminates the cooktop is barely the light of a candle, basically worthless even on the highest brightness setting. Instruction "manual" is a single sheet with a great lack of information. Can hardly tell a difference in motor speed for the over range exhaust fan. Marginal utility. Disappointed in this product.

That definitely needs to be more descriptive. This is the second one that I have ordered and both came very damaged. If it is open box then it needs to say if it is in damaged condition. this I was very disappointed in. I wouldn't have paid that much to have a damaged microwave

I told the salesman that he must of entered the order incorrectly and yet he implied it was my error!! He was the one who entered the order after my husband and I specifically said we wanted an upgraded model !! But if money is a concern this microwave is a good option but it is very basic.

The vent is serious business, and I like the high/low lighting options. All this being said, I wish we’d paid more attention and spent the extra money on the next model up because this microwave doesn’t have a basic function we’ve come to know and expect, something so basic you wouldn’t look for it in the product specifications: quick start buttons. You can’t press the “1” on this model and get a one-minute start. Not happening. There’s also no “+30 seconds” quick button. You manually type all time and hit start unless you want to use the preprogrammed settings for things like popcorn. This is actually such an annoyance at this price point that we’ll probably go to the trouble of uninstalling and exchanging the item for the next Samsung model.
