    Did not last 6 months without needing a repair.

    Bought this microwave June 2021. Then, around February 2022 (7 months), when we close the door, the microwave starts running intermittently on its own. Pressing the buttons like STOP won’t work. Unplugging it is the only solution to reset it. Also, the door handle is starting to fall off on the bottom. Called Best Buy to start a warranty claim but since it was more than a half a year ago since I purchased it, they couldn’t process it. So I called Samsung who sent over a repair guy. He replaced a part or two but the problem persisted and he was able to still replicate the problem. He also said my door needed to be replaced but did not have that part. Samsung is promising to refund the cost but what a pain. Now I have to purchase another microwave and install it. What is funny is that a friend of mine who worked at an appliance store told us, “Do not but Samsung appliances”.

    Poorly constructed

    We had ours for little more than a year when the arm broke off from the bottom. It was screwed into plastic while the top part is anchored by metal. Most people are not tall enough to grab mid span and pull from the bottom. Poorly designed, now have to waste money on another brand.

    So many problems

    Bought this product in June. Handle broke off of microwave a few weeks ago. It is a very cheap plastic handle. The buttons are hard to push. Also, you cant heat your food with the timer going at the same time. Never would have bought this microwave. I never write reviews but I always read them and wanted to save someone else the frustration I'm feeling.

    Used 3 times and died

    Bought a house with this microwave newly installed by the seller. Used it for 3 days and whatever element controls heating completely failed. Samsung warranty service is horrible. Waited 10 days for the tech to come out, only to be told he has to order a part, and probably won't be back for another week. Save your money.

    Bought this because it had pretty good reviews and was priced right for a replacement that we may not keep long since we are thinking of moving next year. I sure hope we do move because this microwave is awful! It was a pain to install, but that aside-it is loud-the fan doesn't do anything but make a lot of noise unless you are set up to vent it out of the house. It burns things one time and then undercooks it the next time at the exact same time and power setting- it heats up the container but not the food half the time. I was hoping it was one of the units under recall so I could get rid of it, but no such luck. Maybe it will be soon though-I can hope! My advise is spend a little more and get a decent machine!

    Microwave looks ad works great. Lasted about 5 years and the fan gave out. I do not use the fan often so I am a surprised that it stopped working. This is the first kitchen appliance I have owned that needed a repair/replace. My last microwave lasted 15 years or so before I replaced it simply to have something more modern. Let's hope the Dishwasher and refrigerator hold up better than the microwave.

      If the microwave has power, but will not respond to any commands or only certain buttons work, clean the control panel and try a power cycle. If the panel still doesn't respond, service is required.

    Damaged and sold as new

    Arrived to my residence well packed, therefore I did not open the container to inspect the microwave. I purchased the product for my mother who lives 70 miles away and and been without a microwave for sometime and was in disparate need. When I unpacked the item I noted numerous dents, both in the rear of the unit and on the side. Seeing the urgent need I installed the unit anyways, since the damage would not be seen, since the cabinetry covered the damage. I also noticed many missing screws from the unit as well as template instructions. THIS WAS DAMAGED, RETURNED ITEM,, VERY DISAPPOINTED. The shipping container was in perfect condition indicating unit was damaged before Best Buy shipped.

    Only lasted 4 years before it broke! I was very disappointed when, almost to the exact day at the 4 year mark of owning the microwave, it stopped working. It was making an obnoxious sound and not heating anything up. When I reached out to Samsung they said there’s unfortunately nothing they can do other than have a service guy come out which was going to cost almost as much as a microwave cost.
