Had to get two of these due to the shipping damage. You see OTC Microwaves damaged as open boxes in the stores all of the time. Apparnerly they get damaged before they get to the stores too. Anyway, this is a good basic unit, replacing a 10 year old Samsung basic unit and it works well. The door fit and finish is not too great, but not so much so that I wanted to remove it and get yet another one.:(

However, frequently when finished heating an item, when we shut the door, it starts again. Can NOT locate a reason for this in the online manual, and a paper manual was not left here at installation. And now, it is past warranty replacement period. If anyone can advise on this issue, please do. Thanks. Aside from that one problem, it's a very nice microwave.

Cheap Appearance, but Good Price

The quality of this is marginal - the "Samsung" logo was crooked, and the handle is cheap plastsic instead of stainless steel like older versions. It does work well so other than cheap appearance, it is a good price.
