Stopped heating in 3 months. Samsung should stick with TVS.

Put it up didn’t work had to take down! Not the easiest thing to do.

Quit working couple months after warranty expired.

This is a super versatile unit. In a pinch, I can use it to roast or as a convection oven. Interior is that pretty blue with white spots and cleans up nicely. It presents nicely above stovetop. It is a little bit of a learning curve, but if you keep the user manual nearby, it is better. Also, the lights on the bottom could be a little brighter - I even bought LEDs hoping they would be brighter - but not so much. O/w LOVE the unit. Unfortunately something has happened with the display. Luckily I have the protection plan (totally recommend that for all your appliances at Best Buy!), I am keeping my fingers crossed they can fix this one and not have to replace it since my brief research shows this is no longer available and there does not seem to be anything quite like it.

I had my cupboards cut out to accommodate microwave over range, to free up counter space. It looks great, and we use it a lot, no issues. Easier to clean than other microwaves have been. Door opening is a little wider, due to buttons on bottom and larger door, but this doesn't affect us. I use a similar product at my dads where I frequently cook, and can say I much prefer mine, with the buttons at the bottom. The fan works well and is not too noisy, but you will hear it. Templates were a little odd, and inconsistent in measurement unit. Watch carefully.

Wonderful microwave and convection oven! I have had it for a little over a month and it heats food quickly and even. It runs quietly and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the price.

I received my microwave a few days but installed it myself today. I have not used the unit long enough to comment on its performance. It looks above average. The only disappointment I have are several scratches on the inside of the microwave and a few very small dings on the outside. I took the 10% discount instead of going through the trouble of returning and reinstalling another unit.

Still works like new to this day! Using the popcorn setting even works great, no burnt popcorn like with most presets on over brands.

This was a terrific microwave, but terrible range vent. Bought this in Nov 2014 and within a year, the fan on the right stopped working. The fan on the left barely does anything, but it sure does make a lot of noise. We typically ended up with the microwave completely drenched from cooking vapors which dripped back into the food after sliding down the front of the microwave door. And, like other OTR microwaves, if you need to microwave something the same time you are cooking, the fan will essentially turn off anyway. About a week ago the fan started going on and off by itself. Since Samsung does have terrible customer service, my husband tried to service it himself (electrical engineer and all) but the darn thing is held together with glue which made it almost impossible to service without destroying the whole thing. Which he did. And now we need a new microwave and vent. But he did find that the reason it was malfunctioning was because of the grease and water vapor it wasn't venting eventually infiltrated the control panel, causing it to go haywire. Oh, and it is definitely not fingerprint resistant. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing this one again.

Convection worked good, microwave was fine. Gave it 3 stars as mine just sparked/smoked after 4 years.

Really enjoy slimfry and convection! HUGE interior fits larger plates and baking dishes. My former OTR Convection was over $1,000 and not as versitle.

My mom has this microwave but I use it every day also it doesn't do anything special out of the ordinary but it is working has worked for a long time and Best Buy had a great price when we got it and this thing is built like a Workhorse use it a lot everyday and it still works never had a problem with it I would definitely buy this again

It looks good and it does everything it's supposed to, no complaints. Sometimes you have to push the buttons hard to get them to work, but that's a minor thing. Works well and we like it

Being handy with installing such appliances, I decided to install this one myself, and had worst experience ever. The right side nut for the top mounting bolt is attached to the microwave frame, as it should be, but the left nut is attached to the thin sheet metal cover. May be this was due to fact that the heavy parts like magnetron are on the right side of the microwave. I was using the power drill at the lowest torque setting, but it still ripped the nut clear off the sheet metal cover. The nut wasn't even spot welded to the cover but attached with some sort of a clip. I was staring at the hole for a while, and decided that the only option I have is to use a sleeve nut. So, purchased a 1/4" x 1-1/4" bolt and and the same size sleeve nut with a Philips head. Attached the bolt from inside the cover (yes, I had to remove the top cover on my brand new microwave that I haven't even used yet) with an ordinary 1/4" nut from the outside. Then set the microwave in place on the wall bracket and used the sleeve nut from inside the top cabinet to catch the bolt that was sticking out on the top of the microwave. Managed to tighten the sleeve nut to hold the microwave in place. Because of the very reason that the left nut (or bolt in my case) is attached to the thin sheet metal, instead of the frame, the more you tighten the bolt (or the sleeve nut in my case), the cover simply bulges at the top under the top cabinet. So, I could never level the microwave; it is still slopping to the left, and I didn't want push my luck further by trying to level the microwave (yes I checked the level on the the wall bracket). The supplied bolts are very fine threaded which makes it easy to cross thread them, especially when you're supporting the entire microwave load and trying to drive the bolt from inside the top cabinet. Wall bracket is even worse; it is as thin as it could be; the clips that hold the microwave from the bottom rear easily bend. Took a while to get used to the feather touch; you have to hit it at the right spot. Door was squeaking; this was the simplest to fix that required little bit of lube. I'm hoping to see the functioning of the microwave might compensate for the worst installation experience I had.

The absolute worst company support and warranty service I have ever dealt with bar none. I purchased and installed the microwave on 12/26/15. Went to put something in microwave on 5/15/2016, set time pushed start, it made a little pop sound and has not worked since. Called warranty that same day, they set up info to have repair person call me. They called on 5/16/2016 and set up a date a week and half later on 5/25/2016. I called repair person on 5/23/2016 to verify 5/25 appointment, no answer, left message on machine. Get a call back today 5/27/2016 saying they need to move repair visit to 6/3/2016. That will be 3 full weeks before anyone one comes to look at it and I live in a urban area. Think about it, do you have enough spare time to just wait around for a service tech to show up 3 weeks later? I would honestly give Samsung a negative star if I could for the way this warranty claim has been handled!

I was excited to have a microwave and a convection oven all in one. We bought this because it had those features and matched the range I wanted. The microwave died after 1 year. It was just barely under warranty so it was repaired with a new door, which was the cause of the failure. Now at 2 years old, it periodically loses power and now does not heat at all. The magnetron is covered, but the $200+ service call is not. It does not pay to repair it. To say how upset and disappointed

Love the convection cooking and all the standard microwave features. Stainless finish is very nice, but first microwave arrived dented, making me think one will want to be very careful cleaning and using.

This microwave is adequate for most things. The only issues I have with it are that it has less than 1000 watt output. Turntable stops working with a large bowel of pasta sauce . If you use a paper bag to make popcorn make sure you use the lower grill grid to raise it off the platter or it won't pop correctly. My EWAVE (12 years old) was more powerful in all respects than this one. The convection heat and browning element are nice but I would rather use a regular gas or electric oven,

Stopped working with error code C-DO after less than a year. Samsung sent a repair person, they removed and replaced the whole door. Has now stopped working again with the same error code, I suspect when you clean the door, liquid somehow seeps in. Samsung refused to cover it becuase it's more than a year old. When pressed to repair as part of the same issue, they agreed "one time only". Matching fridge stopped working 2 months ago due to freon leak, thankfully had purchased extended warranty on it.

Love features but the heart of unit gave up early with Magnetron having a shorting failure after 3 years. Of course the unit has a 10 year warrenty on the Magnetron. Warrenty support for Samsung says they would not replace bad part without having their own Service tech verify with a service call starting at $150. What a warrenty scam.
