    Don't waist your money. This microwave will break within 3 years and the warranty is only for a year. I bought this 3 years ago and now it's not working. The Samsung customer service gave me 2 options. Buy a new one or pay $300 for the technician to come fix it. It's a piece of junk. So disappointing

    This microwave lasted for 14 months. We already had to use Samsung repair once while it was under warranty. Now it is broken again, but the warranty is no longer valid. The part for the microwave is more expensive than a new one. so frustrating!

    We bought this microwave 15 months ago I I already had it serviced 5 times and now it once again stopped working. Not only the ventilation system is a joke, but there is nothing sealing out the fumes from cooking, so grease gets on the wires and it is a fire hazard if you try to use the microwave. This is unacceptable in my opinion, costumer service is horrible, I WILL NEVER BUY ANY OTHER SAMSUMG APPLIANCE EVER AGAIN.

    I am really sad

    I think this microwave is beautiful with cool features but it did not work out of the box. We installed it and got an error code related to venting. So we uninstalled it and checked everything. We then contacted Samsung and they could only initiate a repair. I have not used this and will be returning it. :(

    Aftwr 12 months and 1 week, by second unit is dead. I thought since I bought the extended warranty I was ok. Third visit by Geek Squad cant fix it, we are in the wind. Refuse to replace even though under warranty. Done with best buy and done wirh sam sung.

    Terrible Product

    This microwave didn't work from the start. After installing the product and trying to use it, after 4 seconds a C-20 error message shows up. After 1.5 weeks of frustration working with Samsung they want to refund my money and are not wanting to repair. Don't waste your time and money and find another Microwave.

    Abruptly Stopped Working/Poor Customer Service

    Microwave suddenly stopped working and displayed the C-D0 code on the screen. Called Samsung’s customer service and they provided absolutely no help whatsoever. A complete waste of close to $500. I would not recommend this product and will not be buying a Samsung ever again.

    Failed 4 weeks out of warranty

    This is least reliable microwave I've ever owned. Died 4 weeks out of warranty. Samsung wants $100 for the visit, $100 for the labor, plus parts. It could end up costing more than a new one to fix the old one. One year of life for a microwave is inexcusable. Cheap components not backed up by the manufacturer. Not surprised the warranty is for just one year.

    Will stop working as soon as warranty expires

    First one completely stopped working 2 weeks after the warranty expired. Second one magnetron is gone, 6 months after warranty expired. Magnetron has 10 year warranty but service will be $350+ Read the reviews and don't ignore them.

    Bought the unit and never powered up. Had to wait another week for replacement. New unit worked for one baked potato then several of the controls failed. I ordered a different unit for replacement but have to wait another week for delivery. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT IT IS JUNK

    Stopped Working After 1 Year

    I had this microwave oven installed barely a year and the front keypad stopped functioning. It was used very little. Samsung wouldn't warranty it since its just over a year when I bought it.

    Caught in fire

    I bought this microwave MC17J8000CS two years ago. It worked just fine until this week it caught on fire! I couldn’t even get through to a person at Samsung, will try again on Monday, but I’m not willing to put another Samsung microwave in my house.

    Do not buy Samsung. The oven froze with a C-D0 code on the door. I tried rebooting and drying it out. Nothing will fix it expect a super expensive technician visit.

    Stopped working as soon as warranty ran out. The fan stopped working and now the microwave does not warm. Only had 14 months and now I will trash and buy a different brand. Do not buy!!!!!!
