Not happy with as previous microwave lasted since 1987 and this one only worked 1 month

I wanted a basic microwave to reheat and make popcorn and this seemed to fit the bill. It was attractive and well priced. While it does what I expected it to do, it has lots of vibration noise and generally noisy.

Not as good as my old microwave that quit. Have to set power level to 10 everytime just to get it to cook items thoroughly and hot.

I made a mistake in buying an open box, many missing parts. The geek squad inspected, not very well I may say!

I bought it at the polaris store, had it delivered in a weeks time. The delivery was great and I opted to install it myself. Product: looks good, does not feel solidly built however there is nothing wrong with how it is. The buttons could do with a little feedback action instead of the flat board feel of pressing the panels. The package was good adequate. Off the box I had hoped for a quick start install guide with steps to get my installations going. I had to figure out what is the sequence of the install steps. I was replacing the existing microwave and thankfully the hole to secure the top screws were in place. The new microwave's screw spot lined up with the screw holes in my cabinet. CON:Installation instructions are not very clear and it is very easy to miss steps or important actions before installing it. PRO:The microwave looks good and works excellent, heats up very quick. CONS:The LCD panel is quite useless to show time. The light under the unit is very dim and not usable for cooking wish it was LCD instead of the incandescent bulb. Biggest issue i had, the unit comes shipped with the Demo mode ON and no where it states to turn off the demo mode, so the unit was not heating up anything. Once I turned off the demo mode, the unit works great. Microwave popcorn was done very quickly. Bottom line : i Like(not love) the unit. It is a great replacement and looks good.

Once installed, it's working exactly as advertised - cooks fast and quiet. Average size, but we use it for simple tasks, not elaborate microwaved meals. We had to send original one back because there were "loose parts" in it - opened the front panel to insert the vent filter before installing and found a electronic component (resistor?) sitting loosely and unattached in the compartment - no clue where it should be, but clear that it did not belong there. Light cover also was not attached, so decision was made to return and replace without installing. Best Buy was great about exchanging product. Second item had small dent on side right out of the box - but no loose parts and dent is hidden by cabinets, so we decided to install instead of returning again or canceling order and finding an alternate model from another manufacturer. So it works well - hot/even, quiet, etc., all the necessary shortcut keys, etc. - but the level of the quality control during production is suspect,.

i was looking for a new microwave to replace a 17 yr old sharp that died on us. I wanted similar features and wanted sensor cooking too. This one is bigger, has lots of features and was not too difficult to install. One reviewer mentioned that the hardware was not very good. I found it to be pretty comparable to other microwaves that I looked at. I especially like the eco mode. It uses 80% less energy at only 1 watt on eco mode. The scrolling feature is nice because it prompts you what to do next. I looked at appliance mart, menards, sears outlet and couldn't find a better buy for under $200. IMHO anything under $200 is a great price for this microwave.

Needed a new micro as old one died after 21 yrs. Just bought a new black Samsung fridge (great!) & needed new range & micro to match. Is a good piece for the price. Heats fast; eco setting great; plenty of room inside; easy to use controls. Didn't have any installation issues like several other reviewers- from box to plug in & use took only about an hour. If you follow instructions exact, take your time, and get help when hanging, no problems. Only issue my wife has with this micro is the acrylic/plastic finish around the door. It show every fingerprint & mark. If you have kids or people in the house that "don't know how to use a handle", you will be wiping it down a lot. Not an issue for us as just 2 adults in the house.Other than that, happy with purchase.

We've had this microwave for 3 months, use it constantly and works great. Does not have all the bells and whistles our previous one had but it heats much faster and it is very quiet. Installation was a breeze and in less than 30 minutes it was up and running using exactly the same wall rack from our previous microwave. Great buy

Replaced a counter top unit- bought as open box, but item was perfect with all mounting materials. The BB sales person was outstanding and made sure we had everything for a successful install. Took 2 hours including adding a circuit/plug installation for the unit. Decent weight and performance. Light is dimmer than halogens and not very effective, but we supplemented with low voltage LED lights from Lowes- works great. So far so good- real test of any product is if it is trouble free for a reasonable period of time- so far we love it.

I bought this microwave to go along with the matching oven. They look great together and it has made my kitchen look totally different having my old microwave out of the way and freeing up a bunch of counter space. It's amazing how much bigger my kitchen looks with all of the extra counter space. As far as performance I've found nothing negative to say about it so far. Plenty of pre-sets that seem to cook the specific items very well. The rotating tray is great for avoiding hot spots on your food and everything seems to cook evenly. It's much bigger than my old one and you can fit some pretty large items in it. I can't think of a single negative comment to say about it. Do make sure you have someone to help you install it though. It's not overly heavy, but it's too much for one person to lift and fasten down by themselves. It took me maybe 15 minutes to install it once I had my old range fan down and out of the way. Just mark it out with the templates you get in the box and it lined up perfectly. Just make sure you have a couple pieces of wood handy if you have a recessed cabinet bottom like mine. You will need them to snug it up against the cabinet correctly. Aside from that, everything you need to hang it is in the box. Definitely worth the money.

We just installed this microwave last weekend. Very nice looking and a great deal. We love Samsung products. Fit right into the same holes that had been drilled for the previous microwave that was probably 15-20 years old. I did notice the light underneath the microwave got hotter than normal. Don't really use it that often, so its ok with me. Would recommend to others.

I have been very pleased with this product so far. It works great and was very easy to install. It has a very sleek design and really logical buttons. I looked at several that were more than 100 dollars more than this one with similar features.

It is very easy to use and cooks much faster than my old one. I like the preset buttons for things like melting.

Nice size, good features. The light for the stove are not very bright. My old one had very bright lights, could see better cooking.

Had this installed to replace a very heavy early 1990's GE that was beginning to fail. What we were looking for more than anything was one that wasn't going to be vastly different in size from our old one. Many were going to stick out 1-1.5" more and also were lower. This one was sized right and packs punch with 1,000W of power. So far works great, is very quiet when operating and the controls are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. Priced higher than other brands and models, but I was confident in quality from Samsung to justify the price. I'm very happy so far.

We picked this up and within an hour I had it installed and running. 3 days later it went on sale and we got $20 back. It looks great and is quiet compared to our last one. This is a nice microwave for the price.

This microwave replaced our ~$400 GE one that lasted 7 years. The install was very easy as the wall bracket and screws lined up exactly. We've only been using it for a month, but are very pleased with its performance and features so far. I hope this review helped. Good luck!

I replaced a Panasonic OTR Microwave, because the backsplash granite had been cut for the previous unit, I was limited in the number of models that could fit, as I did not want to leave any gaps below the microwave. So I order this one after seeing other Samsung units in Best Buy stores. It is much quiter than the Panasonic, but I expected that. It seems to take a little longer than the old one which was 1200W. Just a few seconds its ok with me. What I do not like and I think it will be "The" problem in the future is that the door handle is PLASTIC painted silver NOT easy to see in the pictures. I doubt that it will survive a house of five for a long time. Then again I bought the extended warranty and something tells me I will be using it. Fan is fairly quite to and the light is fine.

I bought this microwave for my new dream home, and I couldn't be any happier. It is very easy to use and has a pretty blue numerical display. It is an excellent value for the money, and I recommend it for anyone looking for a quality microwave on a budget.
