Those plastic parts are connected directly to the inside of the door. Meaning the part to replace is the door itself. Which cost more than the entire microwave. Now I already need a new microwave.

Dishonest brand

One day I went to open the microwave using a normal force and was hit by plastic pieces. Turns out that plastic clips holding the door handle became brittle and shattered. Samsung denied the warranty claim first time saying it was "Cosmetic" and then it was a "Physical Damage". I am not sure how it is possible to pull on a door handle without any physical force.

I wouldn’t buy this microwave

We called Samsung twice regarding the microwave. Toward the end of their long claims process they decided they would not help us with a replacement and advised we “get a new unit but they were not helping with the purchase.” Completely disappointed.

Terrible. Product died in one year.

I’ve had much cheaper microwaves that have lasted longer. After a little over a year (exactly one month past the one year manufacturer warranty limit) this microwave has stopped working. It chooses to start and stop whenever it wants to. The product randomly starts on its own when the door is closed. A waste of $300. I should’ve gotten the cheaper $50 one.

This was a replacement microwave for one that had a electrical failure so I was expecting more out of this one as I reviewed and chose this one. The spring holds tension on the door latch so the door will stay closed. Cannot run the microwave without holding the door closed by hand. Bad design or just unlucky on the part.

Safety issue beware

Had 10 mo and the view window is coming loose and microwaves probably coming into house. No support or replacement. The plastic around window is shredding. Poor quality. Other things wrong the turn style stopped turning and the keypad hard to see because no backlight. But it looks great when installed. Safety issue

My only negative was the door trim and the keypad trim are slightly off by a few millimeters, but doubt they are all like that.

The first Samsung microwave we had burnt down . We got the same microwave again and within 16 months, this one has burnt down too!! I don’t recommend this one.

Over-The-Range installation straightforward with templates provided, but I recommend surveying the numerous videos out there to prepare yourself for the job. Hardest part for me was connecting the exhaust duct work -- aluminum sticky tape is a must! Unit is not terribly heavy, but I recommend having two persons present to heft the unit and anchor it to the cabinet. Appearance is modern, with clean simple lines and stainless steel trim. Door handle is solid. Operation simple with very few pre-programmed cooking modes. Cook mode fan sound is average. Audible beep feedback on all buttons that cannot be adjusted or turned off. Surface lamp is adjustable but at highest setting, single OEM incandescent bulb is rather dim as a task light. If more light is desired, I recommend replacing surface lamp with brighter (>800 lumens) LED E17 bulb. DO NOT replace the interior bulb with an LED as the microwave will "cook" the clear plastic materials used to encase the LED components. Fan has two speeds, drawing through two removeable washable aluminum grease grilles.

We installed it ourselves and wasn't too difficult (2 person job), hardest part was planning/lining up the template on the back. Heats evenly, looks great in our Stainless Steel Kitchen, and the buttons are easy to wipe clean. I also got this on sale, so was a really good deal. Happy so far!
