Considering it was open box item, it is working and doing what it supposed to do. We did have to go back as they did have the ring and turn table in it. Wrong plans and they left the wrong used bracket for the wall.

I recently purchased this microwave, and everything seemed great at first—sleek design, easy-to-use controls, and decent power. However, I encountered a major issue: whenever I closed the microwave door, it would automatically turn on! Thinking it was just a defect, I exchanged it for the same model. To my surprise, the second unit had the exact same problem. Every time I closed the door, the microwave would start running on its own without pressing any buttons. This seems like a significant safety hazard, as it can run without supervision. While I loved the design and features, I can’t recommend this microwave due to this dangerous glitch. Hopefully, it’s something that can be fixed, but for now, I’d avoid this model.

Bought this over the range Samsung microwave since we have the Samsung double oven. It fit perfectly and looks nice and sleek. It works well, as it should, and has good interior size. Also, the price was right especially since it was on sale.

A nice sized microwave for us. It's more powerful than our old one. It looks nice and works fine. The only thing I didn't like was a trivial thing, the 30sec. button, you have to push it then push the start button. Our old one started with one push. I like that the control pad is not overwhelming with button choices, it's simple to use, I recommend this microwave.

We moved into our house and the previous microwave just gave out. I have always trusted Samsung electronic not only for TVs and tablets but for kitchen appliances. This one did not disappoint. Sleek design, great functionalities, quite and matches great with our other Samsung appliances. Highly reccomend this microwave.

I purchased the Samsung 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Microwave in Black Stainless Steel back in February 2025, and it has been nothing short of a kitchen upgrade. The design is sleek, modern, and fits perfectly above my stove. It instantly made my kitchen feel more premium. The black stainless steel finish is fingerprint-resistant and easy to keep clean — perfect for a busy household. Performance-wise, it heats evenly and fast. The preset cooking modes actually work (no more guessing with frozen meals!), and the vent fan is strong but quiet. I also love how bright and clear the interior LED light is — something I didn’t think I’d care about until now! Installation was smooth, and Best Buy’s pickup service at Bay Pkwy Brooklyn was fast and friendly — in and out in 10 minutes. Overall, this microwave makes everyday cooking feel easier and more enjoyable. Highly recommend it to anyone upgrading their kitchen!

This is a very clean and good looking protect. It works as good as it looks. The heating is quick and efficient and the options are very good. Easy for us to install, but you should have some skills in installing items under cabinets and securing it to the wall. You tube was a big help on this

Good microwave overall. However, i live in a remote area and could not get best buy to come install although they have nstalled multiple products over the years. It also was to replace same microwave that had some type of door issue that best buy DID replace

Works great and easy install. No issues and was able to get this on extreme short notice. I would recommend this as an affordable replacement.

We have had this installed for a few days now. Pros: - Clean/sleek look - Simple operation - Compact size - Previous model stuck out and down a lot more, making stove top viewing difficult. This is almost the smallest footprint (excluding Whirlpools model that is designed to replace a vent hood). It is almost identical in size to GE and Samsung 1.6 models, but this is the first model that is finger print resistant. - Noise - Operation is quiet, fan on recirculate was better than old but not great (tested before installing), which made me decide to duct it outside. Much quieter (recommend if you can). High - slight increase in voice to have conversation. Low - you can talk soft and hear without a problem. - turn table inside sit flush with bottom (recessed) Cons -No way to turn off sound and more beeps and noise then previous whirlpool model. Nothing in manual, hope to find a way to disable/make it quieter without opening it up. - +30 seconds doesn't just start running. have to press start (minor inconvenience) - Fan setting and high low are separate buttons. If you are going to do this, just have a high button and low button. By default it starts the fan on high but you can press the speed button first and than fan to get around that. -incandescent bulb - hole template for exhaust vent is 3-4 inches wider and 2-3 inches deeper than it should be. < 1 in of play should be sufficient.
